Biden wasn’t just losing due to his age, it was his record and the state of the country that was keeping him down

As President Joe Biden runs for reelection, here’s how the U.S. has fared during his time in office:

    • The economy added 15.2 million jobs. The number is now nearly 6 million higher than before the pandemic.
    • The unemployment rate dropped back and has stayed lower, longer than at any time during the previous administration.
    • The U.S. economy has expanded each year under Biden and is expected to continue to grow this year, although the first quarter estimate for this year was below expectations.
    • The number of people receiving food stamps has decreased by more than 1 million.
    • The S&P 500 has increased 32.9%.
    • Crude oil production is up 14.2%; imports are up 10.8%.
    • Violent crime has gone down. The latest figures from large cities show an 8.6% drop in murders.

Is that as compared to PRE pandemic/defund the police/BLM riot levels? Or as compared to the more recent 'defund the cops' period levels?

Res BandicootThe only really good and suitable woman that the Dem's had was Tulsi Gabbard, but she got sick of the nonsense and quit.

What a real pity, too. As a woman I'd feel so much prouder if Gabbard had been elected. Harris has been given a lift up for all the wrong reasons her whole life.

Still nothing from Obama endorsing Kamala.

He's waiting to throw his endorsement to Michelle.

Interesting that you mention this since it seems to be religious pattern in the Bible Student's world. In a German issue of the Present Truth magazine of the LHMM of P.S.L. Johnson they state (translated):

“Our earlier experiences in the tribulation period were social inequalities, disobedience to authority, strife in the relations between capital and labor, class hatred abounded, deep-seated discontent prevailed, agitations and demonstrations for radical change continued, the poor were malnourished and cried out for bread, the underprivileged demanded money and various “civil rights” from the rich. For years these signs of impending catastrophe have become increasingly evident in the present order of things and more and more “men languish in fear and expectation of the things that are coming upon the world” (Luke 21:26). On this day we witness further outbreaks of trouble. We can name the following: Antifa, Black Lives Matter, defund the police movement (in the USA a movement to take funding away from the police - translator's note), the Covid-19 pandemic is causing great financial disasters, socialist idealism is rife in the world of politics, the governments of the world are in a bankrupt state, the hatred of many factions towards the Christian world continues."

I notice here that the word “civil rights” has been put in quotation marks. In the following list there is not a word about racism and discrimination, but the Trump vocabulary is used: Antifa (=anti-fascism) as a difficulty (in the concentration camp, by the way, the Bible Students secessionists also got the purple angle), “Black Lives Matter” is a problem and Covid 19 is not described as a health disaster but as a financial one. “Socialist idealism in the world of politics” is denounced. Interestingly, Russell still recommended socialism in Volume IV of Studies in the Scriptures and distinguished it from communism.

But what can one expect from an institution which, even in a convervative religious environment, clings to the old in a splintering off of a special community.

Previously, I had a neutral..mildly negative opinion of Harris. This thread/subject intrigued me, so I took the time to look her up on Wikipedia and click on the links to go down the Rabbit hole.

Very interesting childhood and parents. I highly recommend reading the info.

I grew up, and worked in and around San Francisco for much of the first 40+ years of my life, so I have read and heard about her for a long time. I have also known her mentor Willy Brown since the 90s, actually met and spoke with him at work. The guy was incredibly bright and very shrewd. (One person I would never underestimate, or play poker with.)

Now check his approval rating pre-debate well before he dropped out. There’s a disconnect here that you are not picking up on. If things were that rosy, there’s no way he’d have an approval rating in the high 30s. Hint: Rhymes with “hoarder”.

Another clue: VP Harris and her allies at this moment are saying she never was the _______ czar precisely because of this reason.

If illegal immigration was such a huge issue , the average fast food wage in the United States wouldn't be 19 dollars an hour an a big mac meal wouldn't cost 15 dollars. All the Zoomers are just lining up to pick lettuce and shingle roofs in 40 degree heat.

An independant, like a third of the American Public, I don't know why so many people on MAGA threads kept saying Michele Obama would be a last minute pick or Obama wasn't backing Harris???

The 7/26 WSJ paper this early AM. Front Page. "

" Barack and Michelle Obama Endorse Kamala Harris for President

Former first couple waited for the Democratic Party to unite before backing the vice president." "
