"Like the one made of dust, so too are those made of dust; and like the heavenly one, so too are those who are heavenly. And just as we have borne the image of the one made of dust, we will bear also the image of the heavenly one."

"patterned after the image of his Son, so that he might be the firstborn among many brothers"

    Jesus set the pattern.

Jesus will eat and drink with those on earth in the Kingdom. He told the guy next to him "I will be with you in Paradise" and that guy wasn't "anointed" to be a king or priest. Jehovah ate with Abraham. Jehovah walked with Adam and Eve in the garden. All things are possible with God.

The Kingdom isn't going to be far away. Jesus and the kings/priests have to have a spirit body because of the work they will be doing, but they will also be here, able to materialize. Jesus set the pattern. The rest of his "body" (those in the king/priest assignment) will also materialize a body when they are resurrected, so that everyone will know and see.

Jesus said everyone would see, even his enemies. Jesus and the rest of the anointed will do their work in humble form, materializing bodies and hanging out with everybody. They won't be "far far away" like how the GB/FD$/WTBT$ depicts it. It says in Revelation that the New Jerusalem comes out of heaven. Later at the end of the 1000 years it says in Ezekiel "The name of the city is "Jehovah Himself Is There".

God is not partial. We're all His family.

Listening to to JW AGM from beginning to end is quite disturbing when you take into account the amount of back & forth giggling & laughter there is between the Watchtower GB speakers & the audience. It's almost as though the GB speakers are there to entertain those in attendance rather than to instruct and educate about God's Word. Considering how much Child rape, the high volume of CSA court cases, Child Exploitation, broken-up families, depression & suicides that this organization is known for having & causing among it's rank and file members, one would figure this Organization & it's Leadership would act a little more responsible, serious & adult-like instead of working soo hard from the podium soliciting amusement and glee.

It was nasty. The whole thing was nasty. Fakers, distorting truth, blaming God, refusing to apologize - they are super slimy fakers. The best speakers in the local KH were always the biggest hypocrites, mixing in truth with falsehood and all sanctimoniousness, but behind the scenes doing the most sketchy things. Cold-hearted, but all smiles the whole time. Nasty.

Back before I woke up, when the drama was going on in my local congregation, I thought the guys at Bethel would want to know, because I thought they actually cared about love and righteousness and Jehovah's name. (They always say in the videos "we love you very much.") The local elders were covering for some bad stuff, and the CO was too, so I wrote to the governing body to tell them what was going on. I wrote again and again. Then I wrote to some of the other guys that are the helpers to the GB and others in the videos. I wrote again and again and begged them to help. They didn't respond once. The local elders got madder and madder at me for exposing the stuff that was going on, and finally they disfellowshipped me for not shutting up. (Later I found out that the Service Department and the Legal Department told them what to do.) They got a trespassing order so I couldn't go to the KH and warn the others what was going on or do "the first step" according to their elder flowchart as regards confronting the elder in question. As soon as I was disfellowshipped, Mark Sanderson sent one of my letters back with a big red stamp that said "REJECTED". (One of the elders in my congregation is a Bethel commuter who tunes pianos at the facilities in NY. His son is Mark Sanderson's secretary. He knew the details of the things going on in my KH, he even did one of my "shepherding calls" once, and so Mark knew all the details of my case between the letters I sent him and Jeffrey Fletcher his secretary. He waited until he knew I was disfellowshipped and then had my letter sent back with that "REJECTED" stamp just to be mean. They got all my letters but just didn't care.)

There are some other things that happened that I won't go into right now, but I learned from numerous personal experiences that the GB are complete hypocrites. They are not to be trusted. They are aware of what they are doing and they don't care when people are getting hurt, as long as they get worshipped. They are nasty wolves.

The annual meeting is a joke. But in the end, the joke is on the GB. Everybody is going to see that they are like the emperor with no clothes, because Jehovah is exposing them for the frauds they are.

    Colossians 3:14

"clothe yourselves with love, for it is a perfect bond of union"

    Revelation 3:17

"you do not know that you are miserable and pitiful and poor and blind and naked"

Nothing would surprise me anymore....by the way let's spin Christmas as a celebration of our Lord and redemptor, and of course the Bible really hasn't a prohibition about birthdays....now that preaching could be just in pectore...

Christmas and birthdays are the two things that make people recoil....just saying

I know you're only half-serious, if that (I think?) but I know what you mean. Accepting Christmas will never happen (and personally I couldn't care less about that, as it genuinely has nothing to do with Christianity), but with so many "sacred cows" of JW doctrine being 'slaughtered' by the current GB since the early 2000s, I could see a time when they make celebrating birthdays a "conscience issue" (like certain medical procedures have become) on the basis that, as you say, the Bible does not explicitly prohibit them.

That would certainly help to make JWs seem less 'weird' to outsiders, and reduce some of the alienation from non-believing family members, work colleagues, etc. They could spin it that life is a gift from God and birthdays are a celebration of another year of life, part of family and community bonding, an opportunity for an individual to reflect on their life course and think about their future, etc, etc.

There are many things that the org could declare matters of conscience or scrap altogether, because they still have lots of internal man-made rules that have no clear basis in Bible teaching.

Easypromt could you tell us what serious wrongdoing were they trying to cover up that you wanted to expose?

Last leaked videos of the AGM and other early leaks have been edited by the time it’s released on JWbroadcast.

I remember some stupid things brother Heard used to say got edited by the time it was up for all to see.

I do wonder if the service desk is indeed monitoring all the apostate chatter on here and elsewhere then having meetings about things they never thought of before……..

we are helping them do their job, chopping and changing where the can.

it will be interesting comparing the leaked full AGM to what gets released on Broadcast to the 8 million JDubs.

I hope some of the good YouTubers do a comparison and then analyse which bits get edited and why

What Jeff Jackson said in his talk at the AGM made me feel physically sick. Why did he not apologise instead of trying to make people feel bad for believing what they told us to believe.

I remember countless times the GB have said something like they are blaming the Jdubs for believing something that the GB had previously told them to believe and now putting the blame on them for believing it.

Tony Morris used to do this a lot and he did it with those believing the 1975 endtimes teaching. It’s your fault for believing it and sarcastically and arrogantly having the high horse we are better than you see the way I’m talking to you now.

Jeff Jackson did this saying “we know you were thinking like this” in a weasel whinny sarcastic voice.

“some of you were thinking I hope my unbelieving relative dies before Armageddon so they will be in paradise with me”

he speaks as if we were all so stupid to believe this, when it’s the GB that were stupid for telling people to believe this all these years. You are the stupid one Jeff Jackson so why are you coming across so superior and arrogant when you should be apologetic and you should commend those smart ones who disagreed with the GB.

"Easypromt could you tell us what serious wrongdoing were they trying to cover up that you wanted to expose?"

No. I don't feel like it. It involved abuse and I don't want to talk about the details right now.

If I get to know you better, then eventually maybe. But not here right now.
