Are you going?
Not unless I lose the rest of my marbles
The last time I was asked was in 1999. I said that if I went I would have to partake. And that's because all the dates of the WTS are bogus. If there's no 1914 then there's no Great Crowd in 1935. If there's no Great Crowd then everyone goes to heaven, or at least everyone should partake out of respect to Jesus. I think that's what triggered the view that "I went crazy and then apostate".
Actually....if people didn't think I was coming back in the truth for showing up......I would go just for the "novelty" of it. It would be fun to be reminded of the non-sense of this occasion of theirs and to WATCH people. To watch the intrested ones faces would be a chuckle.
I also would like to go just to see old friends faces again and give them a warm smile. I still care for them.
If I went.....it would signal to others I might be back and I would NEVER want anyone to think that. I WANT them to know I feel they are wrong and NEVER encourage them otherwise.
Intresting topic min. It will be intresting to see how many are going.......and WHY.

(Most) Everyone here now knows that I am not, nor have I ever been, a witness. My wife was raised one. I was raised a Catholic.
I've been to memorials in the past. Quite depressing actually. Anyway, in the past, I have given serious consideration to "partaking of the emblems". Being raised a Catholic, it is something that we did every Sunday. If I am invited this year and go, how well would it go over if I partook?
NO
No. I didn't go last year either (that was the first memorial I ever missed).
