I doubt that the elders will come over to invite me. Even if I wanted to go, I wouldn't know what day and what time the memorial would be. I missed the last 5 years anyways, and no one phoned me or came over to tell me when it was.

Shucks, I might go. The new KH should be done by then and I want to see what it looks like. I don't have the hate that many have for the JW cult, but will never go back to that life ever again. I think I could sit through it one more time, if I really try.

I've been experimenting with different ones trying to find the right one.
I attended my last meeting August 1999, after learning the truth about the WT, I could no longer sit there and listening to the lies. Didn't DA then because had family still in. Expected a visit from the Elders, as one only lived a two minute walk away from me. Nothing, not even a phone call. Coming up to the Memorial the following year 2000, thought they would call to invite me, as thats when they try to get everyone they can there. But no. nothing, not even an invitation slip pushed through the door. So I thought right thats it then, shows how much "love and concern" you have for me. The only time they came round was in September 2001, TWO YEARS!! after I had last attended. Then the only reason was it was a compaign to get "inactive" ones back, because numbers had dropped, not out of any personal concern about me. Thats when I DA'd.
Go to a memorial I couldn't even bring myself to enter a Kingdom Hall now.
If they invite me I'll tell them where they can stick their "don't eat or drink" wine and bread.
