  I tend to believe that there are 3 types of people that become Jehovah's Witnesses

  • The ones that are raised in the religion
  • The ones that have had some sort of life changing experience and are searching for answers
  • The ones that are just bat sh** CRAZY

  The top two categories tend to eventually see that it is all a lie. Unless you fall into one of these categories, please run!

  Welcome to the site. As you can see you have three pages worth of responses warning you about this cult. You did the right thing to find out some independent information about keeping records. But there is much more you can find out from independent sources such as jwsurvey.org and jwfacts.com.

  I hope you take seriously what everyone has posted, keep us all updated.

  My Grandmother who was born in 1920 was a JW, my parents were JW's and I of course was also born into it.  That religion totally has destroyed my family and that of aunts, uncles, and cousins.  Please research them fully and read the stories of others; the smiling faces you see at the study and the fluff they teach you is NOT the full reality of what your life will become should you join them.
