Mother became a JW when I was 5 years old, father started going to meetings when I was 12. I became an unbaptized publisher at age 15 (I think). I was never baptized, but forced to attend meetings until I was 18 1/2 years old.

Mom started studying with the dubs when I was 6. Got baptized when I was 14 (way too young) and got sick because the water was to damn cold (maybe that was a sign ). Still in, but trying to get out, possibily taking a few people with me, but I'm not holding my breath on that one.

I was born a jw....... (that already seems a trifle unfair ).....and, despite doubts from a very early age, I was baptized at 17 because of pressure to be like my 3 older pioneer siblings.
I got df'd at 22 for premarital sex ......... ....... and was lucky enough to believe that it would be hypocritical of me to PRETEND to believe by going back and getting reinstated, so I didn't.
My family and my ex's family are still devout, so my (4) children are lucky to have a daddy that patiently shows them the other side of the world, free from close-minded, delusional, holier than thou people.

I've been attending meetings with my parents since 5 years old, baptized in my mid-teens, never pioneered, nor served as an Elder or MS. Married with 3 kids, the wife is still half a JW. Discovered the internet 3 years ago and the anti-JW movement on it. Am now inactive and attending Sunday meetings only to make the family happy. I'm stuck here with nowhere to go.

- I was raised as a 3rd Gen JW and "true believer", rising to the lofty heights of Elder and being groomed to be a CO.
- One day I was "Born Again" causing a reappraisal of my beliefs, some radical life-changes, resulting in loss of previous family and friends.
- The future is as yet unwritten...

Became a dub at 19,,enslaved by the WT for 29 years,,was freed by information on the internet in 2/01.
Before becoming a dub,, was know to friends as "wild man" which title I guarded jealously,,being subdued as to my truer nature,,and becoming a dub,,was very depressing,,yet all the while I was saying mindlessly,,"I'm so glad I found the Truth". Go figure!
Now after 3 year out,,I am a much more happier person who is finding my real self,,which I think is a more mellowed and richer "wild man"..LOL.

3. will spend the next 40 (and then some) happy, alive and with my soulmate, the love of my life.

Became a dub at 13 after my dad retired from the military. Left, came back (yea stupid), got married, left again, got divorced. Still out and living and loving life.
