hmm, I thought about this, but really couldn't squeeze it into 3 sentences. But I started wondering what would happen if you had to sqeeze it into 3 words instead? Surely if you did that, you would have to say being born then something else, then death at the other end, although I suppose we aren't dead yet. I don't think? I wonder what that something else in the middle would be? One word.

Born a 3rd Generation jw. Left as soon as I could after moving away from home at 17. Haven't wasted much time looking back over my shoulder since then.

Born and raised a third generation witness and lived with abuse and pain and under borg control my until early twenties.
Was df'd for having the worlds most beautiful and intelligent and wonderful child out of wedlock.
Got a computer and surfed the net, got some books and started reading and researching and realized my life was based on a big fat lie. (never been happier than when I left mentally forever.)

Joined the cult at 21 after dealing with several emotional upheavals, thought I'd found my road in life. After many more losses and being shown what real love is by "worldly people" in total contrast to the actions of my JW "family," left what I thought was the truth and salvation fully prepared to meet my demise at Armageddon. Disassociated, started reading, learned the real truth, am now free, happy, and living my life again.

: Hey! Shotguns post got me thinking. Post your story is 3 sentences or less, if possible. Here's mine:
Three sentences, eh? That is quite a challenge.
Here goes.
1) I was born and raised as a dub, and I was a great and loyal dub and I gave local talks and public talks and was a ministerial servant and I played the piano at congos since I was 12 years old.
#2: I found out in my early 20's that the WTS was full of shit and lies and manipulations, and I faded away.
#3: I 'm now demonized and talking against that religion that lied to me and raped not only my spirituality, but worse: my mind by virtue of those same said lies, but. I recovered from all of this and It wasn't easy.
How'd I do? Three sentences, with a little "run on" in those sentences, but three sentences nonetheless.
