Glad you made it home OK. I may have the same problem, but my doc doesn't think so. When I lay on my back and do a sit up there is a big protrusion that comes up on my stomach. He didn't seem concerned, but when I lift something heavy I have some pain in my adomen. Maybe I should see a different doctor.

    Rest and get well soon.

Getting any type of surgery done where you need to be put totally under is no fun for sure. I'm glad you are back home and resting. The anesthesia kinda does a job on the bod for a day or two. Take it easy!

Just read your post....catching up after being away for a week.

Hope your surgery goes well....I had a surgery (not the same one as yours..lol) April 5th....so please be sure to take good care of yourself afterwards. That will ensure a "speedy recovery" and a successful on too.

    Thinking of you,

    Hey....did I fool ya?

The drugs ain't that good! It wasn't so bad........cept for the little blondie that shaved me,...that was imbearas'in. Yes sir e...I had to be preped by a cutie and that was my big fear in the first place. I didn't think a nurse would be involved but.......she was anyways

She first tried putting in a I.V. in the top of my hand but didn't get in good enough so instead went in my arm. After the shaving incident, she took tape and blotted the area to pick up little little whatevers, then she wiped benzodine(like iodine) all over the area. Did I tell ya where the area was yet? It was about an inch to close to comfort for ye ol' nuttersac. It was a groin hernia.

Then.....I was wheeled into the operating room and 'I think' had monitors put on me and he started the drugs right as I was sliding onto another table. Next.....I woke up and it was done. Remember I was going to go under? I told him before the operation it really didn't matter as long as it was "as good" as being under. It was, cuz I don't remember one thing about it.

It wasn't hard walking out to the car or getting in. My sweetie wife took the day off to drive me home and baby me. I was fairly sore when I got home and super dopey. I took the nap I mentioned I was going to take and still woke up dopier than a damn fruitcake. I wasn't complainin though

Anyways ,I wanted to ask before I went under, if they could use "suggestion" while I was under to stop smoking as Avishai recommended I could do, but the anasthesiologist put the drugs in so quick I forgot to ask him.

Sorry for the long pitty pot story, but what the hells a guy to do all stiched and doped up all day long anyhow?

Thank you guys all for the laughs and support. Men just love being babied ...don't they?
