Apostafests: Sorting out The Men from The Boys.

  Hmmmmmmm the only thing that puts me off is that your town is called Weston Super Mare, whoever came up with that name for a town needs their head looking into, I mean, It's not with pride you can say, 'Hey, I've been to WSM today', you certainly don't expect your mates to enthuse, 'Hey!! thats way cool', even Birmingham sounds better.

  This is the only thing that puts me off, the name of the place.

  *sigh* OK. .Now, there's lot's of places in the UK that end in "On Sea". Burnham-on-Sea, Clacton-on-Sea, Middleton-on-Sea..you get the picture. Now - sit up straight and listen carefully, Celtic. These places used to be called Burnham-super-Mare, Clacton-super-Mare, Middleton-super-Mare etc. Becaaause -wait for it - Super Mare means "On Sea". Weston super Mare just never got around to updating it's name. Now it's a feature that everyone has heard about..everyone in the UK, that is. Englishman.

  I understand completely, I knew it was a long shot to ask you to travel so far. I'm glad you even considered it!

  We will definately take pictures and post them on the board (of those who don't mind their pics posted, of course). There are now more than 12, so I'm actually quite amazed!!

  Being honest, I never thought when I first left the JWs that I'd have so many friends outside, and it takes a while, but it's worth it. I've been out nearly 5 years (the age on my avatar is the years out) and its taken me this long to build up a group of friends.

  Apostofests are great! I can't wait for Emans' BBQ to see you all again!

  THAT'S IT!!! That's the answer !! The people who are missing actually laughed so much at the fest that their faces stayed like that and they can't leave their houses anymore !!

  That would be hard. I mean, this face might be appropriate for some things but you couldn't do all things wearing it. Funerals are probably out as are meetings with your boss, proctology appointments and anything beyond the first 6 minutes of a date.
