Of course, dismissing someone as being in a "postage sized country" is not insulting though right?
when did i say that? i certainly think thats insulting as well.....two things about that though: number one, i didnt say it, and number two, are you saying two wrongs make a right? as long as others are being insulting, its okay for you to insult the history and culture of america? good for you simon, way to take the high road. for some time now youve been claiming that you only disagree with our politics, and that you dont "america bash".......you can toss all that empty talk into the garbage.
BTW: Could someone explain how discussing the price of
gasPETROL equates to being anti-american?who said it was? i dont think it is....but i certainly think a brit getting into a pissing contest with an american over who has richer culture and history would qualify. youre not just insulting our politicians now....can you see the difference?

its okay for you to insult the history and culture of america?
ha ha ... dubla, you are really losing it.
Please, be my guest - paste the bit where I insulted the history and culture of America !
If I said that "American Culture" was an oxymoron, like "Military Intelligence" then that would be insulting ... as it is, I did not insult you. You may like to think I did, but I didn't. Saying that someone else has more history than you is simply a fact. Live with it.

Keep Gas prices high - force (market forces - use extra Federal Tax if necessary) the auto manufacturers to make more fuel efficient vehicles, at the same time do more drilling and oil exploration in places like Alaska and also do more research on alternatives -- a combination of stategies will be in America's best interest and will vastly reduce the politics of the Middle East and reduce Americas 60% YES 60% dependency on imported energy

If you read through page 7, Simon is responding to donkey who said to Realist on page 6:
When your postage stamp sized country (austria) becomes anything substantial please call back. Until then consider yourself ignored.
Realist lists his country as Austria, hence the insult.
I really don't see what culture or size of the country has to do with gas prices by the way. Let's all stay on topic and quit looking for reasons to be insulted or insulting.

Don't worry Big Tex, I'm here to play nice.
Just wanted y'all to know that gas prices are down here in Seattle! Yes! I'm going to fill up my super tanker today for $2.19 a gallon...regular, not supreme! I'm so excited! It should be less than $100.

It's interesting that one of the reasons that Opec doesn't want very high gas prices (thought it benefits them in the short run) is that it encourages people to research alternative fuels and energy.
So what are you waiting for? We hear all this moaning and complaining about fuel prices and the US strategic weakness of depending on middle eastern oil. Do something about it !!

to state that your country has 10 times the culture that our country does is indeed a slam......its just part of the "we are better" mantra that youve spouting for some time now, even going so far as to say that even though we are both wrong for being in the war, at least your mission names are more p.c. your pissing contests are really pathetic.

yes, i know what he was responding to...and yes, he and donkey were both off topic.
