    Timeline.

But maybe because the book was so great and they didn't include all the important parts

I was disapointed in Timeline too.. the book was awesome.. riviting..

    the movie was slow.. boring..

I didn't want to walk out on it.. but I was let down in my expectations

Does anyone remember "Dracula 2000"? 'Nuff said.

No, but I thought Dracula: Dead & Loving It was pretty darn amusing.

Was I the only one who plunked down cash at the theater to see Nastasia Kinski peel off some clothes in Cat People back in the early 80s? That movie was a stinker, too. I´m the sucker who did it for the same reason. And it really was bad.

    Kay, time to fess up!

I loved Cat People! I think it was 'cause first off, I love CATS. Secondly, the theme song, by David Bowie, rawks.

Also, I find it campy, eh, what can I say.

Music doesn't always save a movie. Flash Gordon was awful! The music by Queen didn't help this mangled mess of roadkill.

Exactly! It's almost a given that the flashier the soundtrack music, the worse the movie is. Admittedly, I did not see this movie, but I do remember the commercial for "50 First Dates" starring Adam Sandler that came out a few months ago. The background music in the ad was "Hey Ya" when it was still a really big song. All I could think was "This movie must really suck!" To have to resort to a hit song to get people to watch, must be a winner!
