When I left the witnesses, I had a hard time letting go of the fear of destruction that my family was so determined to sentence me to. I finally got past it and this became my mantra:

I think my attitude is pretty good considering. I feel much better about things since I left JWs. I don't feel sorry for myself very often. Yep, I think I have an amazingly good attitude considering.
