I would love to see it, but I'll bet you cannot show they are doing ANY JOB let alone a "fine" job of showing people out of the Watchtower. They want out because they know it all is a pile of shit! My challenge has a few simple rules: using drugs, booze, sex, porn or anything like that to get people "out" doesn't count. Using doctrine, policies and just simple common sense DOES count. "It's all a big pile of shit" counts, too.

The audition would have been a mere formality because my instructor was first chair. I decided that touring with the orchestra and so many concerts during meeting nights would dammage my spirituatliy. Yes. The road not taken...

I wonder if the people that write penis & nipple threads really stop to think that there may be thousands of REAL PEOPLE reading that stuff. I wonder if people ever take the time to stop and think about what they spend their precious time on Earth doing! What do all the political rants & insults accomplish? Does anyone really believe they will change anyone else's mind? Freedom is wonderful, but does freedom mean a contest to become the next Howard Stern wannabe? Friendship is great, but hours and hours spent on the internet writing sheer garbage (some, not all) to who really knows who, as Shamus brought up, keeps people out of real life. Tying up time with this stuff isn't growing or living. And it sure won't help anyone out of the borg! It won't console a suicidal teenager, it won't offer support to anyone with a problem. What have they neglected in real life in order to participate in some of these threads??? The old H20 site was really eye opening, educational, supportive, & the atmosphere was highly charged with intellectual minds such as yours Farkel. Not to mention your sense of humor. I got my ass hopped once before on this board for bringing this up, & was basically told to leave. So, for the most part, I did. I come looking around here every once in a while & you Farkel, are a poster I always like to read. No drivel, no bs, no over the hill, middle aged teenage stuff. So don't leave, just keep on the high road because you do help. Your "rules" make sense! I will still wonder why people are using up their precious life writing some of this juvenile crap. Then trying to think of the most tittilating subject line they can think of in order to engage everyone else in the time wasting drudge. I am sure I will be attacked for speaking my mind again, but people like you make it worthwhile! The one thing I learned in my short, but memorable forced detention in the watchtower concentration camp from ages 13-15 a long, long time ago was that life is precious, freedom is precious, make every moment count! Use time wisely & try to give something back. You rock Farkel!
