Thanks for posting this E-man.

I think we expect this kind of thing from certain places and people. But let's be honest - this could have been avoided if things had been handled differently.

Vague posts about "certain people we all know, trusted posters...." are rife for speculation and I'm not surprised at all that some less honorable people ran with it.

Would it not perhaps be better in the future, if someone is truly concerned for their fellow-posters to simply state something more general such as:

"It has been my experience that everyone on the internet should be careful about whom they trust and how intimate they become, lest they are taken advantage of...."

A person who reveals that they are lonely and in an unhappy relationship might as well be a goat staked to a tree in the jungle. The lions will find it every time.

Six of Nine is an apostate and you just can't trust an apostate.

I can vouch for Sixy myself. I have met him in person and known him since 1999. He gave me Crisis of Conscience to help me get out!! Sixy has never done anything that was ungentlemanly! This man has manners and a good heart. Even his ex wife is his good friend!!!!!!!!!!!!! How many men can say that??? Sixy would never stalk anyone, never make anyone, except bugs, feel fearful.

I am with Cruzin.......... I would never have him thrown into passing traffic either.

I know for a fact it is not sixy,

I have called him, pm'd him, e-mailed him, text messaged him, sent him naked photos of myself and family, and he has never once responded.

I think he's gay.

He is the nicest guy and a good friend.

This quote should be repeated and repeated. I omitted the end because, whether you know the person or not...whether you care or not, one-sided accusations which can only then be taken out of context are wrong.
As far as SixOfNine, he has been nothing but kind to me.
This whole situation should have been handled very differently IMO. It has been very hurtful.

I vouch for Six also. From every talk we've had, every joke or evil dig we've given each other.........he's a great guy. I've never heard from anyone who knows him any different. Period.

Sure, he's a man...........but a very good one.

I TOTALLY agree with Wasasister on this...........the thread which generated all this un-necessary crap was vague and just puts fuel to those who would guess........"Is it...............?????????????????"

Btw, JW's are famous for doing this. "Well, I can't mention any names, but there's a brother/sister in our congregation who............................." And then the dirty games begin.
