Welcome on your journey out. The bumps in the road can be difficult to navigate, there are, however, many here who are eager to assist you in your exit strategy. Godbless, I wish U well

    where indeed...

    67

Therefore Jesus said to the twelve: "YOU do not want to go also, do YOU?" 68 Simon Peter answered him: "Lord, whom shall we go away to? You have sayings of everlasting life; 69 and we have believed and come to know that you are the Holy One of God." JOHN 6:67-69 NWT

Peter was following a person, Jesus, not a 'where,' a place, an organization.

    Welcome!
Your journey out of mind control and the lies has just begun.
    http://quotes.watchtower.ca/index.htm

The above website contains only watchtower quotes. No opinions given. Give it a shot! By far the best website on the web that has only watchtower quotes on subjects. A real eye opener!

Nothing to add, just another chorus of "Welcome"! My wife and I only learned the truth about "The Truth" a couple of months ago, and we've found a wonderful new life not shackled to the Watchtower. Crisis of Conscience is quite an eye-opener, isn't it?

I agree with the above, go to the Quotes site. Amazing stuff.

    Take care, and congratulations!

Welcome to a life long journey of learning what living really means.

Your relationship with God might actually improve now that you will no longer follow laws made by men.

My advice: Don't run right to another religion, take your time, a loss on one side will be a gain on the other. Wait a while and see what that gain will be. Stay here, I could not be as strong if not for the ppl on this board. They are the most loving/intelligent/insightful group I have ever met.

    Hugs from Jez

    Welcome ko38!!!

I felt much like you when I learned the truth about the truth(tm).

Blondie's and Joyzabel's posts are accurate...please reread the scripture. It is "to whom will you go?" not where....

    The answer is Jesus....

When I got baptized in 1974, it was to be a foot step follower of Jesus....modeling his life in dedication to his father.

I hope you enjoy this board here and I look forward to more of your posts!!!

    hugs,

Welcome KO38 and partner! Congratulations on your beginning freedom!

    avishai - well said!

It really is time to begin living and smell the roses. Life is so good out of the borg.

Don't look back and keep moving forward.

My husband and myself were JW's for ALL our lives, forty years in all of brainwashing and it's like we are finally free and alive! Life still has its ups and downs but that's normal. What's not normal is ups and downs and the guilt and unhappiness that being a JW brings.

    Good luck! Be happy!

    Welcome Ko!

"Where would we go?" is a common question asked by JW's. You know, I don't know the answer, but is the answer sticking around an org. that isn't right and converting people to a religion that I don't believe?

Next time they ask this question tell them "Why, anywhere your search for truth takes you! Don't focus on where you are going; there is no final destination. Focus on the journey because that's what counts the most. As long as you are open to learning new things, then you are searching for your truth, and the whole world is there just waiting for you to explore it."
