i think that pretty much says it all.we can all whine and groan about how the society has wronged us and how they are so self preserving and wrong , EVIL, false, controling decieving, self righteous,and whatever.those who speak of giving up or god is dead or now i smoke pot and god loves me or now i commit fornication and its okay or those that get drunk and say thats okay.man some of you sound like the apostate definition according to the society.THE EVIL SLAVE.in order not to allign yourself with SATAN your job i think is simple.stop doing wrong.

i know people who are barely able to walk due to neurological problems. When they smoke they are fine. God made it, it's medicinal. what's the difference between pot and alcohol? I want to know. Which is worse, and why.

lieing cheating and stealing

These things are wrong in almost any modern society. The dubs I've known have been particularly bad at all three. Why do you assume those of us whove left practice those things more than dubs?

Chose to leave, but yes i am bitter. Bitter that they chose to have a policy to cover up child molestation. Bitter that they ignore the parable's of the prodigal son and the good samaritan. I have no problem with teaching my children the values of kindness, tolerance, Joy and acceptance that christ taught. I do every day.

What i want for my kids is to learn on their own, not be spanked as infants because thay won't sit still or be quiet at a meeting. I want them to be able to go to school, maybe even a dance? Without having some damn Janitor give me his own slanted view on how to raise them. I want Justice if they are abused instead of some Jackass telling them to read the watchtower and go in service more, and to forgive the person who molested them. I want them to be able to recieve secular counseling instead of them saying they will lose priveleges if they do. I want my kids to have a normal life and education, all the things denied me because of their draconian policies. Lastly, If they are sick, I want them to have adequate care, rather than trusting 13 men in NY's ever changing policies on vaccinations, trnasplants and blood fractions. Proof enough?

No fear, KO38. I am a simple Christian, not an xJW, and I promise I have raised my children with love and firmness. Check my posts if you disbelieve me. It is disrespectful to paint us all with the same brush. Like the rest of humanity, some stumble and fall, and most dust themselves off and learn from their mistakes.

The Watchtower Society rules with fear. People who are afraid react in panic and make bad choices. People who are terrified may even abandon their own children in an effort to save themselves. Does God rule with fear? Does He teach us to be afraid of our own selves? I say no! What is the opposite of fear, then? I say, walk with confidence, knowing you do not walk alone.
