I thought Ted Jaracz was the current WTBTS president. That is a real old timer there if he was around in 1915 .

Nope! Max Larson is pres of the New York Corporation. Dan Adams is daddy big bucks president of the other rather large holding company called "Jehovah's organization", aka, Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society of Pennsylvania INC. William L. Van De Wall is actually president of Jehovah's Witnesses. As far as I know Jehovah's Witnesses and the Watch Tower Corporations are not legally related. They haven't been since 2000. The connection is another concept requiring some imagination . . . something Witness people are rather good at.

Just curious here but where did you get that information ? It sounds like a move to keep the money out of the law suits by making this guy william L. Van De Wall some kind of scape goat . Now they can say they didn't enforce the blood policy or various other bad advice they give people and are not liable for monetary settlements . Holy paranoid prophets batman I think the joker is evading responsiblity once again ,that chariot of theirs sure moves quick when it comes to the money . Anyway I do remember hearing the name Don Adams before , I'm guessing it was jaracz that got them in the UN NGO scandal and then the switch?

Heathen, The resignation of the Governing Body members from their jobs serving the Corporations made big news in 2000. The Watch Tower Corporations disassociated Jehovah's Witnesses and they formed a new corporation. I found about about it on line and in the papers.

    Links are many. A few:

    Jehovah's Witnesses revise legal
    organizational structure
to further stress 'the ministry of the word'

The world headquarters of Jehovah's Witnesses today announced some revisions to their legal organizational structure that will allow them to keep pace with their growth. The Christian group currently numbers six million active members worldwide.
The revisions, which were announced at the annual meeting of the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society of Pennsylvania held today in Jersey City, New Jersey, include the appointment of new directors to the Watch Tower Society and the setting up of three new nonprofit corporations in the United States. The seven new directors are experienced ministers who have already been serving in various administrative functions at the world headquarters of Jehovah's Witnesses.
The Governing Body, which currently numbers 13 members, will continue to focus on Bible doctrine, evangelizing, and pastoral care. In 1999 more than 14 million attended the services of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Jehovah's Witnesses Order Shake-Up By Richard N. OstlingAP Religion Writer
    Monday, Oct. 9, 2000; 11:59 p.m. EDT
NEW YORK ?? Leaders of the Jehovah's Witnesses have ordered the biggest organizational shake-up since the evangelist sect was incorporated 116 years ago, saying it would help the 5.9-million member group expand worldwide.

The Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society of Pennsylvania, as the group is officially known, had been run by a so-called Governing Body. Now, religious and administrative duties will be divided, with three newly formed corporations running the group's U.S. operations.

President Milton Henschel, 80, and the group's six other board members resigned their posts on Saturday.
"The reason for the changes was both theological and practical," said public affairs director James N. Pellechia.
He said the Governing Body, now relieved of its administrative tasks, would be able to "concentrate more on the ministry of the Word." *********************************

That would seem to imply the Governing Body was not able to "concentrate on the ministry of the Word". That would be very obvious judging from the amount of confusion and error produced by that ministry lately. Do these guys even think about what they are saying? Lol
