Some great comments being made . It is clear that the entire doctrine of the WTBTS is nothing but dogma . They can't seem to get a prophesy right so I'm guessing that's a sign of true anointment as far as they are concerned . A true anointed one lets themselves by bullied by a publishing corporation and is stifled by opinions coming from close minded hypocrites . According to them you are nuts if you see any signs of christ or hear any voices that correct you or encourage you . Gee I guess that makes the entire new and old testament prophets all a bunch of lunies . It's nothing but blaspheme what they say .

I remember 2004 Memorial "pre-season" was a heavy dose of instruction about who are really anointed, partaking, essentially "DON'T PARTAKE, YOU ARE MESSING UP OUR NUMBERS."

Yeah! I think this reveals a little about their mind. At least some in the Writing Dep and GB believe their own lie, showing that they fit in the typical profile of cult leaders. Otherwise, why would they be preocuppied in lowering the numbers? Having a steady figure of about 8,000 only buys them time. If the numbers go down as dubs expect, they'll have to explain why the end is not coming.

The memorial talk was 30 minutes of "DON'T PARTAKE" (I am not joking.)

Their emphasis on "not partaking" in an occasion that was supposed to be solemn and devoted to special Christian fellowship shows where their heart really is. It's just for a show. They don't even try to disguise that Christ is only a minor figure for them.

At least the WTS isn't bluffing the numbers here, although it is obvious even to WTS headquarters the partaker count is bogus.

Then why don't they publish the annual number of partakers with an asterisk, along with a footnote that reads, "These figures are incomplete or inaccurate because...."? I mean, they're all about accuracy, right?

But what if some individuals who lack this call have been partaking of the Memorial emblems? Now aware that they never had the heavenly hope, surely their conscience will compel them to stop partaking. God would not look with favor upon anyone representing himself as a person called to be a heavenly king and priest when he knew that he really did not have such a calling.

This is one of the greatest problems in the doctrine of the Watchtower movement. Teddy "the Boss", for example, was only ten when Heaven's Door was closed.

I can see some more "new light" coming on this point. Maybe this is a way of them prolonging the end of the system. Jehovah still has not filled the 144,000 number and needs more time. Whatever their excuse, I am sure the rank and file Jdubs will buy the BS.
