Somewhere I read that for a "Anointed One" to be replaced, the original Anointed One had to die apostate. Can anyone help me with this.

If no one can tell if the above is correct, can anyone say that it is incorrect?

Of course non of this even begins to account for those that may have died. As these are supposed to be very old people, the death rate should be quite high.

Very easy computer glitch, or untrained attendants by mistake counted some who were having an snack with grape juice.,

Seriously, let me tell you there are always some nuts, old and newly converted. who actually "participate", sometime shy elders dont know what to do about it, it is between she/he and god.... In other cases elders ignore or confront the one siping the wine. There are few hilarious anecdotes about it.

The post about the true and genuine annointed ones are quite confusing. How can it be that these people were mistaken about their calling? I thought they received their calling from the Holy Spirit. If this is so, how could it have been mistaken?

Just my two cents.

I think their error is in trying to confine the Christian hope to a limited number and establish a 'class" system.

Isn't it odd that when they prepare the cracker and grape juice that they prepare enough for all those their when knowing that there will only be a few if even that many partaking it ?

I believe that there are many who still have the 'generation of 1914' mentality and still have not grasped the significance of the 1995 change. There are even more who still don't even realize there was a change.

This WT's earthquake struck in 1995 with the change in this doctrine, and a lot of JWs took notice. In 2014 (100 yrs after 1914), a resultant WT tsunami may hit when the realization of what took place in 95 really takes hold. (Hope the comparison doesn't offend)

Actually it makes sense to me that there are only 144k co- rulers with christ . There are 12 gates on the city of new jerusalem with the names of the twelve tribes on them and the only ones that can enter are members of the 144k where as the rest are described as entering the city through the court yard , of course they will also be in heaven but heaven will be part of earth anyway and they enter in the throne room which is in the temple sanctuary where they worship . revelation 7. I still think the way the WTBTS conducts the memorial or lords evening meal is disgraceful , when they have all those people show up only to reject the symbols of christs suffering . I think you are to actually eat dinner and gather with only the ones that will dine with you .
