Joining the MILITARY means much more than a paycheck. The fact is, you are volunteering for warfare, infantry, killing, maiming, and swear an oath to follow the dictates of the COMMANDER IN CHEIF, whoever he or she may be.
That is the reality of signing up. It is a big step, and not to be taken lightly. No I am not "made of stone". I feel deeply for this woman, and her son. I think he made a bad career choice is all.

Yes, your comment was shitty and very uncalled for. Please deleate your posting. It is mean and hurtful to a woman who is grieving over a situation that she or her son did not ask for. (being sent back to war and not having the option to not go)
