    **adamantly chews on popcorn**

I say...keep AFIN...AFIN is someone with an opposing view and we need a happy (?) medium here. I'm saying, AFIN, start your own thread--it'll be cool!

*LOL* as if you know anything about me. I haven't proved any point for you and only want you to leave Filip alone. Young people today are smarter than they have ever been. When five year olds can navigate websites it doesn't take large stretches of the imagination to find teens using the Internet as a real tool for living and work and all kinds of things. THAT is a fact of life some of your ilk are hesitant to give in to. Especially since it just could be that the soucre of so much information could lead to learning a thing or two about the corporation you hold so dear as a religion. I would imagine that your spiritual leaders would prefer their followers to view information on the Internet much as a five year old would, instead of a young, or old, inquisitive mind that has the right to find answers for themselves.

So filip, how are you? How do you feel about talking to your parents now?

Valis, you really need to keep the stupid responses of JW apologists around as a record. So Valis: DO NOT DELETE THE RESPONSES OF JW APOLOGISTS. They do far more good for the cause of showing people the cult nature of the JW organization than anything you or I could do. If you can, please do restore AFIN's foolishness so that all may partake.

    AFIN said:

: AlanF .. in your own little world here, you can get away with being abnoxious. Your nasty, surly attitude does not deserve a response.

Did I not predict that that would be one of your two possible responses? One, two -- on the money! I win!

: In the real world, what do you think would happen to you, addressing anyone in this manner.

I might well be punched in the nose.

But this is not the real world. This is a world comprised of words on a page, somewhat akin to the world of words on the pages of The Watchtower. Such words, being mere symbols on a computer screen, are devoid of meaning aside from what we readers give them. In a sense, it's kind of like pure math. In that sense, our words and logic stand or fall based on fairly objective criteria intimately connected with the real world, but still a bit apart. Your words obviously have no standing in a world of pure logic, since they're based on nonsense and avoidance of the questions at hand. Which of course, is fundamental to JWism.

No Alan I can't restore it...it was merely an insult directed at a board member. Simon could, but I doubt he would.

AlanF ... difference is ... my posts get removed if I use your tone. Gives you free reign ... that's how you people handle things? Tie the other person's hands behind their back and then act big?

OK... you asked someone if their "elevator went to the top floor". Stupid and just gearing up more flames.

That is what I removed. It was nothing more than an insult. Don't change the subject.
