When I stumbled on to a site like this one (JWD wasn't invented yet LOL) I was appalled at what others were saying about the WTS. I began to post there, to defend and to prove my beliefs to be I had thought they were.
Well, as you all know, I certainly got an eyeful!
I imagine that those who post here and still have faith in the WTS---are doing pretty much the same thing---trying to defend the WTS teachings and also maybe trying to make the "fence-sitters" think about staying "in".

Actually minimus ... I'm house bound for a bit and bored ... so here I am.
WOW!
When *I* was a JW, I always had another mag to read or a study to do...or that "personal study" or bible reading, etc, etc,.
I never knew the meaning of the word "bored" unless it was AT the meetings.
