Dear SwordofJah
When Jeremiah [a prophet] predicted certain calamity for the nations and the nation of Israel - he got it right!
When Jesus [a prophet] predicted the end of the Temple in Jerusalem - he got it right!
When Moses, Elisha, Elijah, Malachi, ect, ect, ect [all prophets] spoke prophetically - they got it right!
That is the mark of a true prophet - they get it right. None of those prophets claimed to be the originator of the thinking - they [just like the WTBTS] claimed to be mouthpeices to God. But they got it right - and the WTBTS has missed 100% of the time. THEY HAVE NEVER BEEN RIGHT YET!
Only the ignorant could possibly ignore this reality. But if we are wrong please show us. Quit spouting Watchtower propoganda and assertions with no proof.

"I am one of Jehovah's Witnesses and I certainly do not prophesy, but I do preach the good news." -- Sword of Jah
Last conversation I had with a JW about 1914, was that they prophesied that year CORRECTLY, as that is when, totally unexpectedly, World War I (which signalled the Time of The End) broke out.....can't argue with History.
According to Dictionary.com one definition of a prophet is:
- A person who speaks by divine inspiration or as the interpreter through whom the will of a god is expressed.
That really sums up the position that the WT likes to think of it's self. A divine prophet of Jehovah.
So the argument is not about whether 1 date was prophesied or not, but whether the WT is the true interpreter of Jehovah on earth today.
That settles it!!!
I'm going to stay a confirmed apostate waiting on Jehovah to destroy my loathesome DA'd butt at Armageddon. I bet that destruction of the apostates turns out to be another one of their false prophecies, too.
Sword of Jah is NOT REAL.....He writes this stuff just to have fun and piss everybody off. I have to admit...he does a damn good job of it.
Integ.

Well I suppose we could say that the WTS claims to be 'prophets' are in actuality as ambiguous as a road sweeper claiming to be a 'maintenance engineer'. They are both trying to meddle with a reality by the use of cunning semantics.
It has to be said though that a road-sweeper does a far more useful job that the 'annointed' semi-skilled, semi-employed prophets of Jah. On that basis they should be the ones who go to heaven and help cleanse the earth. At least they are qualified for the job.

Re: In 50 words or less prove the GB of JW's is NOT a False Prophet
Just love question begging topic titles and this is splendidly representative example.
Tantamount to "In 50 words or less prove that you mother is not a murderer"
but to address the topic "Wisdom is proved by it's children" said Jesus in response to his critics.
