It would be so funny to see the looks of the people in the hall as they heard and saw all the clapping and cheering after a da announcement. They would not have a clue how to respond.
We should start a support group for people being df'd, and show up at their KH and clap and congratulate the newly df'd person after the announcement is made. Any suggestions?

LOL -- Thats what I said 3 pages ago DL.....I know they tell the people being DF'd/DA'd when the announcement is but how do we find out...not every person leaving the dubs posts here....even though they should ! LOL

Then instead of "former cult member now free" the headline would read, "church members victim of terrorist threat, crazed former member arrested"

GO sit in front and after they anounce it start singing "born free" at the top of your lungs! lol
Be sure to stand at the exit door after the meeting like a wedding reception line. Hand out gum and shake everyone's hand.
One more suggestion I have (like I ever run out of them) is when they announce you've been disfellowshipped, start clapping like mad and say (really loud) "Free at last, Free at last.......thank God Almighty, I'm free at last!!"
yeah.. I wouldn't bother.. I can see why you did when you were 18.. you still believed.. then it is like taking your discipline because you ultimately want to be forgiven and return..
but.. now with true eyes of understanding.. not worth your time..
