The greatest consistancy of the WTBTS is their INconsistancy.

I would sincerely like to know what is right with Jehovah's Witnesses. I invite anyone to post here. Please use facts not personal opinions.
I am not interested in claims, the anointed, nor the organized religion issue since I am conviced that these do not prove that they are right.

I am weighing in to see if you as a Jehovah's Witness have the facts or not.

God rules, in his first reply to Seeker, discloses that he is insufficiently sensitive to truth, or is too unaware of facts, to waste any time on. The fact that JWs have engaged in false prophecy for a hundred years, he does not recognize as a big, big problem viz Deut. 18:22 and others. That being the case, why waste your time?

I asked this question in a previous thread, but the stoney silence from the JW camp was astounding

God Rulz maybe you can answer this one:
Jehovah's Witnesses obviously make a big thing over God's name and say that we should call him Jehovah.
But when Jesus taught his disciples how to pray in Matthew 6:9 why didn't he start the prayer "Jehovah"? Instead he starts it "Our FATHER". Surely if Jesus had wanted us to use God's name he would have taught us to use it in prayer?

RULES,

The single biggest problem with the Society is that it claims to be God's organization, but offers no proof of this. On the BLOOD issue, The bible forbids EATING blood, not taking it as a transfusion, BIG DIFFERENCE.

Also, the Society is wrong on HELL, THE TRINITY, the 144,00, the Memorial.
Hey GR, if Jesus came back in 1914 why does the Society still hold the memorial since Jesus said to do it UNTIL HE RETURNS.???

The Society has gotten much more wrong than it has right.

Jesus never used god's name because it is NEVER ONCE in any new testament scrolls, the god of the new testament and the god of the old testamentant are quite different. Pick up a copy of the New World Mistranslation, and in the back it has the JW admitting 1) Jehovah is very likley the incorrect way to pronounce YHWH but oh well 2) the YHWH is never used in the new testmant BUT that's only because the superstitious jews removed it (why did they leave it in the old testament????)

A mere 10 minutes later you responded to him and said the whole thing was just his "opinion." He posted his challenged to you at 1:47, server time. You responded to his challenge at 1:57, server time the same day. If you had read his challenge IMMEDIATELY after he posted it, that would have given you only ten minutes to read it, digest it, and prepare a point-by-point rebuttal. No one alive could have even read that article with any comprehension in just ten minutes. Yet in just ten minutes you shot back your "answer:" that they were just AlanF's "opinions."

: The difellowshipping policy is scriptural. It's very clear in 1 Cor. chapter 5.

Where in the Bible does it command that secret Judicial hearings be held to determine innocence or guilt? In both the OT and the NT all matters of this sort were held publicly: either in front of the entire city, or in front of the entire congregation.

1 Cor. lists just SIX things that Christians would "quit keeping company" with fellow Christians if wrongdoers practiced. How many things does the WTS list? Six or SIXTY? Where does the Bible demand disfellowshiping if a person smokes? Where does the Bible demand disfellowshiping if a person expresses a contrary opinion? I'm waiting for FACTS, GodRules. I will be disappointed though, becase you don't CARE about facts. Neither do your religious lying leaders.
