Hated it..........around the world and back snap
Hey, is that from the "In Living Color" skit about the gay men movie critics? Aaah I loved watching that show.
In any case, I definitely hated going out to service.

I hated it with a passion unknown to mankind. I detested it and found it revolting and a huge waste of time. If I felt stupid...it was because I knew I was wasting MY time and whoever was lurking behind the next door's time. I prayed fervently to the God Of Not-At-Homes. I got sick to my stomach the night before service and had cramps and headaches and panic attacks when I had to actually step out of the car and go to the door. I also prayed fervently to the God Of Huge Big Vicious Dogs and Small Little Vicious Dogs when we were in rural territory. It was always a good excuse to just leave the place with the jumping, leaping, snarling, yapping and after your blood dogs scratching your car doors and peeing on your tires.
Does that answer your question oh minimus of the thousands of questions?(Minimus and his gang of 5)
Most sincerely...Cathy L. "Thank You For Your Support"

I like most kids too little to understand loved it as a child. By the time I was a teenager picking car groups was like a popularity contest. The PO's wive didnt like me so I was always gossiped about and not allowed to go with the FUN car groups. Eventually I just gave up having absolutly No "Zeal" left to give. No I look back and think I tryed to please those hypocritcal assholes why?

Some days I actually loved it......last year I aux pioneered for the month of March. I mostly just liked talking to people about having a heightened awareness of the planet, love one another and general things. IF you listen to people we all want the same things.
I hated going when I felt forced or when I was in a snooty car group. It really made it difficult to go to the door and be able to freely express yourself.

Purplesofa, you weren't preaching a JW message.

Yes. When I was typing "Hated it" the skit popped into my head.

It is true that we were able to develop a stronger confidence and thicker skin because of our Witness abnormal activities.

Nope. It has taken me years and am still working on being able to function in normal society. There is still that little voice in the back of my head telling me Im wrong and Im going to end up getting my kids killed at armagedon.. (Amazing how much that voice sounds like my mom) I am getting better at shutting that down and enjoying life again or should I say for the first time.
