dumb da dumb dumb...dumb da dumb dumb DUMB

translation: YES I felt stupid, especially approaching people who were obviously older, educated, and more experienced than me and would say things I couldn't counter-argue. All I could say was, "Wow, you have a really good point there," and I would think about it more at home.

I think that was part of my undoing as a young JW was listening to a very few smart yet caring householders and contemplating what they said. I could tell they felt sorry for me and that helped validate my negative feelings about what I was expected to do as a kid.

I was a true believer and loved going from door to door. I was never happier then when I was engaged in a good argument at the door.

With the exception of white sox and the beanie the picture you posted would have been a good likeness of me as a Pioneer.

I hated it at night when people thought we were muggers but I loved it normally - I really enjoyed my time. I was pretty successful to (pride pride pride) in my two years I baptised 74 ppl :)

My husband walked by the computer just as I scrolled past DanTheMan's picture...He stopped and asked, "Who's That?" I laughed and said, "Its DanTheMan doing House to House Work."

He said, "Do you all know that people make fun of you for doing that house to house work?"

I said, "Whatever, it's called persecution, closest thing to a miracle we have, the WTBTS told us that would happen."

Yes, I hated it...and felt very stupid...and I knew people were making fun....

I was a really big self rightoues b H. ( not as bad now LOL,,,

I really dont know much about the mormons or the quality of your ministry, but does that no of 74 in 2years include any dead members of your family. As i believe you do baptize these.

If it was all from door to door work or cold calling I am very impressed by that number!!!!!!!!!!!

I doubt if ANY witnes can say they have brought that amount of ppl in the org in 2 years or even a lifetime

In all my life I have NEVER been approached by a mormon
