Yeah, struggle with the impossible demands made upon our time and emotions. Struggle trying to still the questioning voice inside us that keeps trying to make sense of the BS........hehe.........he said a mouthful of truth on that comment!

Ya, I've been hearing this rhetoric bulllshit from the local congregations for the last 3 or 4 years....usually from those that are 90 or 95 years old and who have been waiting for 80 frigging years or more for "the End" to come so they never have to "taste death at all." Pretty dam sad when you think about it.he says that some of those who have left the truth, say they never felt better. "Why is this?" he says? he answer: "They don't have to stuggle anymore."
Well duuuuhhh.....ya think? It's not just the "struggle"........it's the fact that we've learned that most of the doctrines they teach aren't worth the manure their fashioned from.......even faithful Dubs are sick to death of 5 meetings a week, Service every f*cking waking moment, personal study, family study, then the ten thousand rules and regulations that are in place that prevent you or your offspring from ever having a normal life-----gee, and they wonder why so many are leaving??

This all has a lot to do with how long it has been since "this generation" saw 1914 and the fact that the WTS redefined the word "generation" to mean an indefinite period of time.
Without a definite target for the end they cannot create a sense of urgency
Without a sense of urgency they cannot maintain high adrenalin levels in the people.
Without high adrenalin levels in the people the people get tired and depressed.
The WTS is slowly bleeding to death. The only way for them to stop the hemorrhaging is to set another date... but I doubt they will because they learned their lesson from all of the other failed dates they set (1874, 1914, 1915, 1925, 1975, 2000) http://www.freeminds.org/doctrine/datelist.htm

I really hope so.
They have no real new blood (pun intended). Their hard-core core is extremely aged. They are so under educated they can barely pay their bills.
They will now atrophy.
They remind me of a street racer that hits his NOS too soon... like a shooting star... only to fade and become invisible...

I quoted this very scripture to my JW brother last month. I then said, do you think browbeating you into going to church three days a week and on a fourth day selling magazines is light? Do you feel refreshed or worn out? He just looked lost because he knew the answer.
This is an excellent strategy. Use a source a JW trusts to destroy their cult mindset.
