God speaks to you and I. Not to the G.B. These old cocky pieces of shit should die sooner and more violent than most on this earth. A bunch of pseudo-cleric administrators, who haven't even mastered the ancient languages, and are selling soul blessings- to Brooklyn G.B. I pray God listens to our collective prayers - G.B. DIE QUICKLY! One can only hope.

The GB do not claim and have not claimed to have speaking rights directly with God nor do they claim inspiration.

The decitions that are made as to doctrine is based on Bible study. This includes more that just reading the Bible but on doing reasearch as to what words meant in the first centry or when the Bible book was writen. They compar it to digging for a trearure. It does not come over nightr but with diligance. That is why they have changed some explanations of different topics. Their reasearch turns up more information that dictates a change.

Evedently when something is found to be wanting they discuss the eveidence of the reaserch done, then throw paray a decition is made.

JW Ben is correct. They do not claim spirit-inspiration. They do claim spirit-direction, and any who get baptized (since 1985) have acknowledged that belief publicly. Merriam-Webster shows that spirit inspiration is very, very different from spirit direction. Spirit inspiration is much milder.

I would think it entirely possible for God to directly communicate with people today much like he did in the old days .From what I understand is the WTBTS is not claiming either, where as when I was studying back in the early 90's the belief was that jehovah "directed " the organization much like the chariot of Ezekiel . It seems the WTBTS theology is much like Texas weather , wait just a minute and it'll change . It's all invisible anyway ...............
