I know but I'm sure many have private access especially the younger ones I'm sure many parents will pay the bill because private internet access is important to them. Which reminds me, Hey GB how about an timely increase in the monthly wages for bethelites so they all can afford "private" internet service along with cable TV. I'm sure they allow for private hook ups in thier rooms if they can afford it. I don't think the GB can get away with not allowing it. And I sure there are plenty of bethelites that parents have lots of money and it is no problem.

Keep in mind that the WTBS can block access to any website from outgoing internet lines from Bethel. Most corporations block any access to "porn" sites too. It's quite easy to do. After all if they can't access the internet fully at Bethel where will they? They would need to go to a library to get unrestricted access.

Bethel does not allow wireless internet access. All access must be via land lines. Some who have laptops can't wait to get away to their congregations on weekends so they can use the wireless access.

But how would they enforce a wireless ban?? don't seem very pratical to me. And it would make a lot of people suspicious.

I've heard the same thing about no private access Frankie...

Like say there is NO WAY they can get a privately wired apartment. The ethernet lines are all thru the main building distribution. And wireless signals are also quite easy to block since they are on the same frequency as cordless phones.
