  I will go and talk with elders until such time as my fade progresses to no longer attending meetings. Once I don't attend I won't meet with them. Until then I need them and I need to play their little game. But, once I stop attending I will no longer need them nor will I play their little game.

  However, once I completely fade I do intend to check out other bible study groups to see what it's really like. That alone will get me da'd.

  I've put a lot of time and effort into this fade and I'm gonna be pissed if they screw it up for me.

  In my case, really no one knows how to get a hold of me, and the last congregation I was involved with, very few gave a rats ass anyways. I doubt if they even remember me.

  That being said, if they did somehow find me, and confronted me, I would let them know that I have not pretended to be a witness in any way shape or form, that no one knows me around here anyways, so I am no threat to their congregation. If however, they insisted on a stance from me one way or another, and if I didn't they would do it for me, I would make it very clear that if they take any action, that I would not only sue the WTS, but each one of them personally. I would let them know that I have the financial means to do so, and I will go all the way. I will remind them that the WTS will not back them up, and they will have to pay the tens of thousands in attorneys fees themselves if they decide to go ahead.

  If an elder would disfellowshit me, It would be for scriptural reasons, so yes, I would accept it, turn the page, have fun in the world for a few years, and then maybe I would go back many years later for the carrot.
