Standing in line at a convention for an hour to get the latest book, and feeling disappointed after looking through it.

607 / 587 - Fall of Jerusalem - No one but the Dubs care about this

Driving Past a KH in a Strange City - Stop the car, get out, take photo of building, see if anyone is around...UGH

Which hotel you are staying in at the convention. - They all suck but save us the drib / drab of your personal ranking system.

I personally resent sisters who openly ignore me in the hall stopping by my house so they can piss in my toilet while out in service. And then like clockwork, they ignore me again at the next meeting and pretend they don't know me.

    5. Letting your kids watch Star Wars but refusing to let them watch Harry Potter
    6. Not being able to make it to ALL the meetings
    7. Openly declaring that your children will not be pioneering after they finish grade 12, but that they will be attending university instead.
    8. Taking attendence at the Hall
    9. Being the first to know when a couple splits up

Making such a big deal about baby showers, and the actual birth, and then never again acknowledging that special day.

When I was a kid, I could watch I Dream Of Jeannie but never Bewitched. Genies are ok, I guess.

Having lunch with the CO. Big deal. All those people fawning over him and his wife trying to get a little attention from the big spiritual man. Although I liked going out in service with them as they always stopped for a LONG coffee break.

Having Bethelites visit the cong. They were like celebrities!

Teen get-togethers - not allowed in my congregation. I was astounded when I met my husband and he was involved in a Catholic youth group who did fun things all the time. I felt so cheated!

Commenting at the meetings. Why was it considered such a big deal? I remember practically passing out with nerves before I answered.
