I never really believed it anyway, even when I was an exemplary dub I always secretly thought that Jesus was simply referring to the old Jewish system. Which he obviously did. And which is obviously why I’m now out since I’ve started having “apostate state of mind” back then. Who would have thought that GB would one day come to the same conclusion....

Sorry I didnt get to read this whole thread yet, so forgive if this has been mentioned.I was looking at Leo's post with her chart of percentage of increase and I couldnt help but take notice of the years of about '89-94. Remember that during those years we had the fall of the Iron Curtain and JWs were free to preach? The reports coming out of the former USSR were of "great increase". So many were responding that you had to be on a waiting list to have a study with JWs.

Compare the previous years peak publishers with the following years peak publishers: subtract one from the other.
then add in the baptisms. The remaining discrepancy is how many left in that year interim.
eg
1914 peak 1000
1915 peak 1500
difference = 500
number baptized in 1914: 35
500 - 35 = 465
Dammit how does this work? I did it correctly not long ago to find that over 100 000 left in one year in spite of baptisms and deaths.
