if the organization is so spritual as they claim, why is so much emphasis on materialism in the Bethel Homes and head quaters. they live in luxury while witnesses strive to get by in this dog eat dog world.

they are no more different that the churches who pass collection plates, the witnesses just beg for more money for this and that and with out realizing their coffers are over filled with abundance. They are always asking for contributions for this and that. What about helping the poor in the organization and doing charitable works like other religious orders.

Over, 1 billion dollars, so where does the money go??

in their own pockets. I don't believe for one minute that each member of the governing body is wealthy.

I think at least 1/2 the bethel family are turnning into read JWD, and the Governing Body is just now finding this out, because they have finally pulled thier heads out of thier asses and started making JWD thier favorite internet spot.

I'm sure the GB are reading everyones comments on threads that use the title Governing Body this or that.

I'm sure they are reading all the DC threads to see what they are up against as well as the entire writing and legal departments.

it's amazing how much you sound like my aunt and i sound like your nephew. there might be hope yet. my mom forced me to write a letter to my aunt when i was ten, saying that i would not be associating with her anymore. that was hell. now i am trying to find her. i don't know if i can ever be forgiven, but i have to say sorry.

How would you react if the US Government was telling you:

You can't talk to your children if the courts say so.

You can't watch certain movies that they decide is wrong.

You can't wear certain clothes that they feel is inappropriate.

You can't have any family parties.

You can't divorce, even in the case of severe abuse.

You can't have sex without a court document saying it's ok.

You cannot hold functions or do certain activities without the governments verbal approval in a court meeting with your designated judge.

Oh -and if you do any of these things you will be marked and branded so that no one in the world is allowed to talk to you.

If someone talks to a branded person, then they risk being branded too, at that particular judges discretion.

If you would not accept that from them, why are you accepting that life from the Jehovah's Witness Publishing Company-WT?
