They can't be because they grossly lack Christian love and therefore can not be the true Christian religion. They also defy another basic apostolic principle by refusing to call Jesus Lord and invoke His name. They are more or less a cult.

Good question.
I am quite prepared to think that god accepts things that are not 100% right, like Solomon and his 300 wives and 700 concubines, or Moses coming down the mountain and throwing a major strop and smashing the 10 commandments and having to fetch another set etc etc
Given that is the case then the witnesses may well have gods approval, but only along with every other religion that is equally as good or bad as they are. There is no way they have a monopoly on being gods best buddy.
Having said that, I think where there is evidence of long time cynical wicked wrongdoing or covering up wrongdoing surely god cannot be stupider and less tolerant of wickedness than we are.

Since all religion is about your imagination, I guess one religion is about as true as another, or maybe one religious book is about inspired as another and if it is open to interpretation by it's followers, pick and chose as you see fit. When some God comes down and really does something, please let me know so I can pick that one.

Like what? When ever someone says this I'm always curious as to what they are talking about
well, lets see, maybe its just because i was raised in the "truth" and I havent completely let go. But I was raised a good person! So thats one good thing. I think they follow by the bible more than any other religion(except when they take a scripture out of context). For the most part, our congregation was pretty loving. I know its not that way in all congregations though. Hell, nevermind! I could say something bad about everything im saying! I was raised good, but now Im bad cause i was never allowed to do anything. Most congregations are clicky, gossipers with their heads up their ass! So forget my first post!!!! lmao -

Good point Buttlight. I also think that they follow and study the bible more than any other religion. But they also get more verses wrong than any other religion who doesn't study it as deeply...
Bottom line is that they do as much good as they do bad....

No Minimus, I'm just asking if God would approve an imperfect religion like the JW's or in your mind does an approved religion have to be perfect.
