Where is the safest place to be during a thunderstorm?

  We just had THE biggest thunderstorm pass over us in many years, and the "epicenter", if you can all it that, was right over my house!!!!!!!!

  Any minute, I was expecting to get hit in the a$$ with a bolt of lightning, and lose whatever little hair I have left on my head, or anywhere else, for that matter.

  So, I think that the safest place to be, is on the toilet.

  That way, when a bolt of lightning hits right outside your bathroom window, you will be in the right place when you shit yourself !!

  Any other ideas?

  Playing Golf all by yourself with nobody else on the golf course.

  A local dude survived a lightning strike as he worked on his mobile trailer. He was flat on his back under the vehicle. They figure the lightning had so many grounding spots, he missed damage to all his major organs.

  So I guess the best place to be is flat on your back in the middle of the (dry) basement floor.
