I get a little overwhelmed when I meet people and they accept me straight up. I got so used to being judged its hard to adjust to people just liking you for you.
What JW traits do you still have?

I still tend to judge people on the false "no true Scotsman" ideology when they have a personal failure.

I'm not big on holidays or birthdays. I try to act excited for the sake of my children, but secretly...I really don't care.

I still tend to feel I have to "earn" my salvation instead of accepting it is a gift from God and not from the works I do.
Titus 3:5..............."He saved us, NOT BECAUSE of the righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy."
Ephesians 2:8........"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith...and this not from yourselves, IT IS A GIFT FROM GOD...NOT BY WORKS, so that no one can boast."

Edited: Guess I'm tired...hit the submit before putting anything down... Answer: None...I am interested in what/how others think... and free to accept, or reject, their point of view... I like that freedom...Oh, and I don't give a big donkey's honker what others think of me...I like that freedom too.

I accept that not everyone will have the same political views as me, the same taste in music as me, the same interests, values, and so on, because they are worthless scum who deserve to die.

I still think when I go into a church I should look at least presentable, minimum of a dress shirt and slacks.
