Carla I must say i was some what disappointed by your reply.

I answered a question for you, now, answer one for me! Why dont you agree with the explanation of these scriptures?

Matthew 7: 19-20"Every tree not producing fine fruit gets cut down and thrown into the fire.Really, then, by their fruits YOU will recognize those [men]." Let me ask you carla. Jesus said that we would recognize people who were not true christians in this verse. How could we RECOGNIZE them without making some sort of judgement or decision? You see the point? He aslo said you will tell a tree by the fruit it bears, refering to people. How can you tell without making some sort of judgement or decision about that person?

Matthew 10:11-13 "Into whatever city or village YOU enter, search out who in it is deserving, and stay there until YOU leave. When YOU are entering into the house, greet the household and if the house is deserving, let the peace YOU wish it come upon it; but if it is not deserving, let the peace from YOU return upon YOU ." Carla Jesus here is telling them to SEARCH out DESERVING ones and to leave the UNDESERVING one alone. How else will the disciples know which is which without making some sort of judgement or decision?

Again jesus told us not to throw our pearls before swine. Over an over again we are admonished by the BIBLE to WATCHOUT for bad association, to stay away from certain kind of people. How else will we be able to OBEY that admonishon unless we make a decision or some type of judgement about a person? So when Jesus said we should not be JUDGEING he didnt mean we could not see a person for who they are and make a decision about them. He was talking about something ENTIRELY DIFFERENT, A DIFFERENT kind of judgement. So I stand by my statement about Jgnat. I have seen her conversations, her attitude and basically her true self on this board and have made a decision. Does it mean I will STICK with it? No, not if she changes.

Also you keep saying WT this WT that, believing the WT. First of all the WTBTS is ONLY a PUBLISHING company. We do not follow them. We Follow the FDS. If you go to a church where do you thing your Pastor gets his information from when he speaks at the pulpit? He has an OUTLINE to follow as well. He gets it from the upper management of the denomination that he is in! FACT!

Sorry to disappoint you.

As for the scripts you provided, before I answer and make a judgement, I want to make sure of all things, and reread them in their full context. For me that usually means reading at least the entire chapter and often the chapter before and after. I would not want to misrepresent the word of God in haste. I will reread the scripts in full context later. Futhermore, if you are a jw you are probably using the NWT which I don't recognize as a real translation of the Bible. So I need to check the scripts with a competent translation.

I hate to be the one to tell you this but, Pastors and Ministers of other churches do not have any kind of outline they must follow every week from some higher ups of the denomination. They are free to produce and write their own sermon every week. If you don't believe that, why don't you call and ask at least three different denominations? Of course when Easter, Christmas, etc... come around, certainly they make their focus on the reason for the holiday at hand.

I think I have asked you numerous times why God would appoint the wt as the fds? Who do you think the fds is if not the wt? Would you rather I call them the gb? ok. Why would Jesus have appointed the gb (or actually Rutherford in 1919, as there was no governing body then) over all His belongings? What was so unique to Rutherfords teachings at that time between 1914 (Russell died in 1916) to 1919? If Jesus chose this group/individual at that time, why do you not still believe what was being taught then? If you want me to believe that your org is in fact the fds of the Bible, then why can't you tell me why? Why would they above everybody else in the world be chosen? What was this proper food at the proper time? and why is not proper now?

Just trying to understand the whole fds thing. If you really believe that there is some fds appointed by Jesus in Brooklyn why will you not explain it? Can you understand my frustration? No jw can explain it to me. Nor are they willing to look at the very same information that Jesus had between 1914-1919. why?????????? Besides, I think the application for the script used for Brooklyn being the fds is totally wrong (Matt 24?)

Oooo I am so tempeted to call up a friend of mine who can track and find out where Derrick is and who his employer is. I think Derrick's employer is unaware how Derrick uses company property and money to waste time posting on a message board. But then again isn't there software available to employers that can track what their employees are doing on a network company computer?
