If you take the story as a local event, the storry makes no sense at all.

the written history of the great flood and noah's ark is one of the greatest wonders recorded in our almighty god's word, the holy bible.

skeptics would reason that noah couldn't have brought all kinds of animals to one place. skeptics also reason that they wouldn't fit into the ark. that there wouldn't have been enough space for all the food. that carnivores would have eaten the other animals. that many animals would have died because there was no space to move.

while these claims sound very reasonable, skeptics forget one thing: god's word is always correct.

skeptics also argue that ther is no evidence that a flood like this happened at all. but to god everything is possible. he want's us to have faith, not knowledge. so if he decided to remove all evidence, who are we to question him? there's not even evidence that god exists, so what? ;-)

None of these are proven by my stating that they are true. Skeptics don't forget that God's word is always correct, they don't believe that God's word is always correct. Many of them have tried to prove its truth to themselves and have not succeeded.
