I live in a 2 story house, with a basement and large attic. Squirrels found their way in. the attic. Got a brand new roof, they are back. Tore down an old shed, rats. OMG They weren't in the house, but both followed the same path at different times. They got between the walls, and under the stairs. When you said you heard it under the top stair, MINE TOO. They were active in the late mornings, and late evenings after 10 pm. Sometimes you would just hear a bang. Other times it was longer and louder.
It ddn't sound like critter. Like bumping into stuff, in the walls. Not crawling and scratching. Found out what they were, by undoing the wall by the stairs. Lots of pooh. Called exterminator, both times. He put poison out, that made them thirsty, and go find water. Within 1 week each time, They were gone. HL

The Ouija Board" and "A Doorway to the Occult" and "Cults and the Occult"!!!!!! Im starting to wonder if its the book.
By the titles of his books it sounds like this person is writing exposing the occult not promoting it and I don't think you have to worry about Ray Franz's book. I don't know what is going on in your house but I think worrying about books and objects attracting demon's is a hold over from your JW past. They are always worried about things like that. I have had a few things happen to me that at the time seemed very strange but in the end had a logical explanation. I enjoy reading books on haunted places but I don't really believe in such things. But who knows? I have stayed in a Hotel in Nevada that that is supposed to have ghosts. One time we got there the night after the people that investigate the paranormal were there. The owner told us that they had been up with their equipment all night trying to find evidence of the ghosts but didn't get any readings. Once before they expanded the hotel my wife and I stayed there alone. This was the first time we stayed there. We stopped to look at it and ran into the owner. I helped her carry her groceries in. She said a company had rented it for a party that evening. She said it wasn't really open for overnight guest but we could stay if we wanted to so we took her up on it. She told me her son was helping her fix the place up. Her son had been killed in a motorcycle accident at Lake Tahoe a few years earlier . Another time we stayed there with just one other couple. My friends wife kept thinking that someone was going to come in at night and murder us with axe. I would think that if anything ghosty were going to happen it would have happened on one of those occasions.
Its getting close to Halloween maybe a ghost story tread would be fun.

We’ve had them in our house for a few months and haven’t had anything freaky like that happen. Sorry…. You can bring it back to me and see what happens then if it’ll relieve your mind ….

Um well, I found my demon!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Talk about feeling like an idiot!
Ok, about a month ago, my friend gave my son this huge goldfish, his name is bob. (dont ask me why) I was telling my friend last night about all the noises, and she said its probably bob! He likes to jump up and hit the lid that opens. So, thismorning we put his can of fish food on top of the lid. Im sitting here, and all of a sudden I hear this loud noise, and then something hit the floor. Sure enough, I go up there, and the fish food was laying on the floor!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Who the hell would ever think a fish could cause so much noise! If I had to guess, I would say he is about 7 inches long.

All i see is a red x but anyway ,,,,girl ,get that jw teachings outa your mind . The jws still are controlling and their BS teaching still are deep in your mind and they have you in fear. Next time something happens that you think is demon related , stop and think outside the jw scare tactic and there is a rational explanation. Don't let them control your fears.
