Well if I absolutely have to choose between those two I would go to McDonald's. KFC chicken is nasty. Popeye's has the best chicken and sides IMO.

We don't have all those fancy fast food joints here in WNY. We do have the highest concentration of Burger Kings per capita in the world.

Ono has burgers? (I've never actually been there; my husband just brings home three plate lunches, combination teriyaki and donkatsu, every time.)

The one here in NY does. They also have those plate lunches and they have $1.99 breakfast specials (eggs, hash browns) All the food tastes great.

I will order the boneless wings from there though. I like the new chicken sandwiches & selects from McD`s, and the fruit & walnut salad. Ok it`s lunchtime and everyone has now made me hungry!!! Bye-bye!!
Ugh, just looking at Schlotzski's sourdough bread gives me the creeps. Sorry, it's weird, I know.
I detest everything McD's. But a Big Mac will do if the boy talks me into taking him.
KFC has not been the same since the Colonel died. If I do eat KFC, it's because I want to remember how it used to taste.
The best fast food chicken comes from Popeye's, Church's, or William's around here.
Subway's and Quizno's are okay. Wingstop on Friday's or Hooter's wings are the bomb! Sometimes Taco Bell, but there's a regional place called Taco Cabana that it much, much better. Souper Salad when I want to feel healthy...
LOVE Popeyes! Don't get any better than that when it comes to fast food fried chicken. Yum! But Chik-fil-A is good too.
We don't have Taco Bell over here unfortunately, its very tasty though, probably the most superior fast food we have is Subway, but its so expensive.
The only good thing that ever came out of McDonalds was their 80% investment stake in Chipotle(MCD will spin off Chipotle early next year with an IPO - it will be interesting to see how they do; I plan on buying some stock - their growth rate is phenomenal along with the quality of the food). Wendy's owns Baja Fresh, and my favorite, Qdoba, is owned by Jack In The Box. I started going to Chipotle when they first opened way back in 93-94. IMO, Qdoba is very similar but actually has a tad bit more on the menu and has better flavors overall. Baja Fresh isn't that bad either.
I refuse to eat at fast food joints anymore. Once in a great while I will grab some chili from Wendy's.
