I bet an awful lot of JWs who were only in the trades and uneducated are relying heavily on the American government right now..that one they WONT salute and WONT say the pledge to and decry as under Satans Rule...yeah THAT government.

Swedish government declines to give JW financial support
by InquiryMan inquite recently, watchtower in sweden applied for governmental financial support, as they are entitled to as a registered religious community.
however, the government declined to accept the application, stating that the reason was that the jws do not adhere to democratic values and standards and do not support mainstream values.. the witnesses are upset, because they feel discriminated against.
they state that the financial issue is not the real issue, but to be treated in a similar way as other religious communities.. they have appealed the decision and plan to send a report explaining the witnesses views in more detail.. the branch office chose the religious, pentecostal (assembly of god) newspaper "dagen" to make an interview.. here is the photo report of the article.. .

by Butterflyleia85 inok ok so i'm still doing research and i'm not giving up on this beleif of paradise earth!
but after doing some studying and after seeing the mistakes jw has made.
i now stubbled.... the watchtower also does not tell new converts that although they closed the door to heaven in 1935 they had closed the door to heaven once before in 1881. they were wrong in 1881 are they wrong again now?

Paradise....living with ONLY JWs around you under the leadership of Elders and having to clean up the mess left by Jehovah destroying your nonJW family and loved ones.
Um....no.

Why don't JWs fear God or God's Wrath?
by Deputy Dog inyesterday (see http://www.jehovahs-witness.net/jw/friends/182849/1/why-do-jws-fear-satan-and-demons-so-much ) we seemed to confirm that jws fear satan more than god.
in fact, angel eyes (after she told us about her encounter with a man who had been "dabbling in black magic and witch craft",) made this comment:oh and i dont fear jah....why on earth would i fear my loving father?.
now to be fair to angel eyes, she says she doesn't fear satan.

Whats the worst case scenario for a dead JW? I mean seriously. They cease to exist and thats it. POOF. No eternal flames, or clouds or haunting any body or being reborn in someone elses body...
Whats to fear?

How Do We Help JWs Who Come To This Site?
by minimus inwhen a witness checks this site out, they could think it's a jehovah's witness friendly site.
the fact is this site is for anyone interested in jehovah's witness things, whether they are still witnesses or once were or just want to know about witness life.. what positive ways can we help a witness on this site?.

I for my part guess my best bet is to stay away from them. I have zero tolerance of them coming in here and preaching to us and calling us nasty names because we decided to live our lives.

Why Do Jehovah's Witnesses Use the Term "Manmade Religions"?
by Cold Steel inover the years, and just a few weeks ago as a matter of fact, i've anwered the door to find jehovah's witnesses standing there.
in my discussions with them, they've usually mentioned "manmade religions" and armegeddon.
having looked into their religion somewhat, and more so lately, i have to say that the entire movement seems to be manmade and, if not, i certainly don't know where, or how, god could have had a hand in it.. what is there in the way their church was formed that would make it formed, created or established by god?

What better way to cover up that you just farted than to start holding your nose, waving your hand and looking at the guy who just walked by?

Neighbors Are Newly Re-activated JW's
by White Dove ini'm wondering what the stats are on re-activated jw's staying in or leaving the second time around.
i left twice for a couple of months the first time and a year the second time, but finally left for good the third time.. i just found out that my neighbors are jw's but have been out for a while.
the jw's in our area just came by and re-activated them.

I dont think there are actual statistics on that...but I have to think the odds are NOT in their favor for staying permanently. Most people I know who left or were kicked out, had enough exposure to REAL LIVING that when they go back or get back in...its never the same again.
And they ARENT widely received with the same kind of "love" they had. They wear a scarlet letter. Who would want to get back into that cage except to maybe see family? Even then...it eats you.

Circuit Assembly This Past Weekend "Safeguard Your Spirituality" -Everyone Please Enter-
by tryingtoexit inso we had our circuit assembly this past weekend, and it was the first one in my life that i told my wife i would not be attending.
we had a brief conversation on why, and she said well just go to this last one with me, and then when we can discuss what we learn and compare it to why you've been expressing your "new" feelings towards the wts.. i love my wife, and as much as i thought i was gonna hate it i decided to go.
now that i no longer want to be a jehovah's witness it really didnt bother me that nobody hardly talked to me despite me living in this same area for 4 1/2 years, everybody views me as spiritually weak because i dont go out in service, rarely attend meetings, dont comment, lesson is never underlined, so the "friends" never interact with me anyway and i'm use to it, actually that's the way i prefer it.

As for the social networking sites...the society is just as afraid of those if not more so, as it is of the youth going away to college and having worldly friends...its all about going where THEY CAN BE EXPOSED AS FRAUDS like the scene in the Wizard of Oz where the curtain is rent and the REALITY of all that bluster and threats and smoke and fire and mirrors and bellowing is exposed.
It aint nothing but a lot of nasty old farts in Brooklyn depending on the rest of the sheeple to live off. As long as you keep them threatened that they will lose their life long friends and families including parents and children...they will obey.
Get free...stay free.

All this crap they feed you at assemblies are THREATS...veiled not veiled implied written unwritten....threats. You WILL toe the line you WILL obey everything we tell you to do WITHOUT QUESTION you will NOT read anyone elses literature. You will NOT go to any other web site but watchtower.org. You will NOT text you will NOT be affectionate or inquisitive or thought provoking. You will NOT have fun. You WILL spend every freakin waking hour you have in servitude to the WATCHTOWER SOCIETY or we WILL TAKE YOUR FAMILY AWAY.
And they SMILE when they say it.
They fucking SMILE...and take your life away.
