yes, you read correctly..... all appointed men have been told in a new letter that they have to pioneer to "set the lead" whenever there is a "special" campaign month.
they use some scripture saying that these ones have to show by example.... so for any of us who are appointed and have learned ttatt, it is going to be very hard to fade during this time!.

Why should'nt the appointed men be expected to do more.
Alot of appointed men get instant respect, double honour, invites and freebies from the old sisters and others.
So why shouldn't they be expected to "sing for their supper".
They get up on the platform trying to guilt and shame everyone else into it.
as seen in recent posts, beginning later this year appointments and deletions of elders and ms will only happen through the circuit overseer.
this means that individual congregations and elders have no say anymore.
if the gb want only certain people in or out, they tell the co and he makes it happen.
So if you desire to be appointed you just go directly to CO's butt and start kissing, you dont have a whole body of elders to "win over " anymore.
Will this make easier or harder to be appointed? I havent figured that out yet.
the recent video of tony prime where he crashed the memorial made me think how the memorial has changed in recent years ,the layout of the talk ,the lack of jesus and his sufferings.

the topic of what truth is, has been the dominating thought and motivation to many of us here.. so, what is truth?.
a question that has lingered since the dawn of our consciousness and it will stay as long as the human race is around.. .
People that are absolutely honest at all times are hard to live with, sometimes you don't want to be told your bum looks big in those jeans.
On the other hand if you wanted motivation to lose weight you might appreciate the honesty.
Reality is'nt the baddie it's not dealing with it that is.
Having said that though, life is all about weighing up current belief against available facts, and modifying your belief accordingly.
Not everyone has the courage for that, but if you trust the process it will "set you free".
if after you die you find yourself in front a god ready to judge you.

i was stuck in a situation where reaching out took forever, an eternity.
it was ridiculous - no matter what i did, there was always more to do.
You are right about their motivational techniques.
The promise of a big juicy carrot at one end of the dumb-ass ( er...I mean donkey).
And the threat of a big stick at the other end.
We both know which one the donkey is more likely to recieve.
it's hard for me to start this topic bc i feel like i'm being judgmental, a quality i don't like in others and one i try to stay away from as much as possible.
i really do try to be an understanding, caring person.
i essentially believe that all people are good and i am shocked to my core when i am betrayed.
She could some sort of personaltiy disorder. In which case there is no reasonong with her.
i have never had teaching on memory, i have never really had any advice given to me on memory, but i think it is something we would all benefit from knowing, even at a young age.
as we know how our brains make connections now, it seems a missed resource that they don't overtly teach memory methods in school to suit our anatomy and physiology.. anyway, for those that are interested in discussing it and have sought out your own methods, i am interested to hear them!!!.
everyone has slightly different memorising techniques, i am a very visual learner and i have a very visual memory.
Do these techniques work for someone whose life resembles the movie " 50 First Dates".
