  Watchtower Really Does Totally Take The Position of Jesus

  watchtower has said that jesus is not the mediator of anyone but for the anointed.

  then they tell you that they are jehovah's organization and that the flock should obey them.. basically, the watchtower corp. and it's governing body is taking the place of jesus as the mediator for people.

  christianity, even by it's name, focuses on making jesus known.

  I agree, WT does put Jesus "in the corner" at best, and completely disregard him at worst.

  I figure that Jesus "truth" is too inconvenient for them, they prefer the mosaic law, with all it's rules and reg's.

  Nothing JWs love more than "straining out the gnat, but gulping down the camel".

  Jesus spoke truth, they claim to have "The Truth" (like a brandname) big difference.

  Funny, they idolise Paul though.

  I remember the first time attending assemblies/conventionns all the little girls and tweens dressed up in what I thought were bridesmaids dresses.

  Can we be deleted as an appointed man, or disfellowshipped without meeting in a committee?

  so, i am genuinely wondering if the above is possible nowdays?.

  with the changes in the power structure of co's, the changes in gb directives re never questioning "jehovah's appointed channel etc", i wonder if "disciplne can be given out in absence?.

  i know that several elders in our cong have little "discussions" about my apparant slackening off, and would love to take action against me... they have tried to chat with me but that has been shot down.. so i wonder if they could just make a decision without me being present for it?

  Hope they put you out of your misery soon by letting you know one way or the other.

  Nothing worse than dying in slow-mo. It's often the uncertainty that's the most gut-wrenching to endure. Cruel really.

  Course, you could always beat them to the punch by falling on your sword.

  Either way, rest assured this is'nt a reflection on you, it's them, it's AALLL them. Sadistic bastards.

  If they (BOE) have decided they don't like you, they will almost certainly be discussing how to "deal with the problem"

  in meetings where you are not present.

  If they are intent on getting rid of you they pretty much decide in absentia and then call some bogus meeting under the guise of discussing the issue.

  But in actual fact your fate has already been decided upon and you be given a offer you can't refuse.

  Which may go something like"step down or we will delete you " (basically the "we can do this the hard way or the easy way" speech)

  Any reluctance on your part to "speak " with them will be taken down as evidence of your being uncooperative (more reason to get rid of you.)

  I don't wish to alarm you, but if they already have you in their sights you are pretty much a "dead man walking", unless you do some pretty inventive zigs to their zags.

  The only thing you can be certain of is that, what you see is definitely NOT all there is.

  Where Can I Find a Map Of a Congregation's Territory?

  is there anywhere i can find a map of each congregations territory.

  preferably congregations in cities such as new york, philadelphia, and washington d.c. since the elder's manual and confidential letters are online i figure this has to exist somewhere as well..

  In my hall there is a framed map of the territory on the wall.

  The map servant should have one, or service overseer. Either one would be able to tell you where territory begins and ends.

  Failing that, just keep asking for personal territory maps and copy them before returning. (Just kidding on that last one).
