how do you convince someone to get help when their friends all say they're fine?

from time to time i think about how certain illnesses must be very difficult to treat because the sufferer's actual perceptions are skewed.

for instance, how do you convince someone to seek treatment if they are under a paranoid delusion that they know too much and the establishment wants to put them on drugs to dull their minds?

"religion is a snare and a racket". JW.FACTS (or similar) and walked around calmly and politley, well dressed and neat...just like the witnesses did back in the early days!

After all, there has been a big push by the society in highlighting their "theocratic history" recently...so this would be at the forefront of the minds of youth in the org today...

I'm not talking about making a scene or causing an uproar....just a quiet display... (walk out in a group of 20 towards the platform heheh)

IN FACT, with all the dress up carrying on that occurs at international conventions, it would take them ages to realise that it wasnt an official delegation group or part of the actual program!

Hire young good looking actors to do it!

Surviving Armagedon?

the jw's have always been bung up on preaching the good news of the kingdom to all the nation's then the end will come.

but is there any where jesus said that preaching the good news will bring you salvation?

he does talk about being born again in order to see the kingdom and the bible at matt 16 and hebrews 9 talks about the blood means the covenant and this is bow ones sins are forgiven if your in this covenant.

They mask its importance by saying it 'saves lives'...

here we are, the family and i, moving along in our slow journey to freedom.

although they are unaware, for the most part, our ship is slowly veering off course.

not enough to cause attention, not enough to trigger alarm bells, but just enough.. since the summer dc, i have watched carefully, as the new releases remain on the coffee table, in plain sight, not touched, more of a decoration that anything.

My wife and I are in the 'fade', although we have never actaully spoken of it in words...but it seems like we are on the same page.

BUT recently I have been getting attention from the elders... (I'm still a MS)

I wish that they would just leave us alone, as the added pressure is annoying...

i use to hate when people who made goodbye posts on message boards.

why would they think that just because you no longer post on a chevy truck forum or a los angeles lakers forum the world would crumble around those still left there.
