  What are the LAST thoughts of a JW?

  when a jw dies, from results of an accident, disease, or especially, complications resulting from "old age", what do you suppose their last thoughts are?

  would they think they have wasted their lives waiting for something which never did and never will come?

  or do they really expect to close their eyes and open them in a paradise?

  Are We Not Made In The Image of God?

  this is a typical question i often hear when jws debate on christ's divinity(phillipians 2:5-7).

  is is me or when they say this it sounds as if they put us(imperfect, human beings) in the same catagory with the messiah(jesus)?

  JW's teach that man is the image of God, but woman is merely the image of man, not of God, i.e. an image of an image. In this teaching, just as man cannot be equal to God, neither can woman be equal to man.

  trying to replace an oil pan gasket on a 1992 3.0 6 cyl.

  two came in the package, do you need to use one or both?

  You don't HAVE to use either one, many Toyotas come from the factory with RTV sealing the oil pan to the bottom of the engine, no gasket at all.

  TV Converter Box Choice?

  tv converter box choice?.

  i need some help choosing which tv converter box to buy.

  i have two united states government issued converter box $40 coupons good till 9-9-08. .

  For what it's worth, I purchased the Zenith TT900, purchased from Circuit City. Works very well, just hooked up my rabbit ears and plugged in the cables. Leave the TV on channel 3 and use the box to select channels. Picture is MUCH better than before (and I thought it was good then), and I receive almost twice as many channels.
  It's a nice step to keep my otherwise satisfactory TV useable until I'm ready to purchase an LCD with digital tuning.

  i finally got myself a player today at a thrift store for $6.

  How many 8 track titles were ever released in true 4 tracks-per-channel sound, anyway. Come to think of it, that would make the tape a 16 track, not 8 track. I suppose "Quadrophenia" by the Who would be an obvious pick.
  I believe modern "surround sound" technology allows pretty much the same experience, essentially using a different method to reach a similar place.

  Wear clothing made of more than one kind of fiber, such as cotton/wool or cotton/polyester.
  
  Perform some useful task on whatever day you view as "the Sabbath", such as collecting firewood, repairing something in your home or on your car, etc.
  
  Bake some cakes, biscuits, cornbread, tortillas, etc, take them out in your yard, and leave them as an offering to "the Queen of Heaven". Also pour out a little bit of wine in a cup and leave it for her. If you believe the Bible, Jeremiah 44:16-19 indicates this could actually have a positive effect on your life.

  I subscribe both to a naturalistic worldview and to the "Brights" forum.

  The term "Brights" is simply a label used to define a group with a particular similarity. They could just as easily have chosen "Clear Thinkers", or any number of other terms.

  Not sure if I learned these from JW's, but I don't believe Jesus was God, or that a burning Hell awaits "sinners".
