  i faded as a jw about 8 years ago.

  to me the meetings were just plain boring as hell and so "robotic".

  i never did feel true love amongst the brothers and sisters as they always like to tout.

  I agree! welcome to the board AND, congrats! Im not sure how witnesses can live like that, but the good news is, most every young one these days is leading a double life. Time for me to sow seeds of corruption BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHA *cough * cough* haha *cough * weaze* ahh screw it :-(

  here's a breaking news update i just received from cnn.. -- appeals court rules national "do-not-call" registry can be implemented while court considers whether it violates telemarketers' free speech.

  Does anyone get those calls where they either:

  a) dont answer to you untill you actually say 'hello??!!'

  b) say something along the lines of "Please hold and the next available assistant will be with you

  and then you are put on hold for HOURS

  i am perplexed why the benefit of the doubt can not be given in many cases.

  say for instance you have a poster that from their threads is obvioulsy hurting, depressed or in need.

  why can't others understand that maybe that person will push the envelope, the boundaries.

  well, after thinking about all the bad experiences, i just wanted to know, did you know any good elders, and what were they like?

  probably unconventional, right?

  one of the only elders i knew that i truly thought was a wonderful person is my father.

  definitly....one for i think it was 2000, where they showed a picture of a man on the cover running. I dont even remember the title, just the fact that he had a Nike symbol on his outfit. Yay for product placement! +1 billion to WTBTS

  when you were a jw, how did you imagine armageddon would be like?

  i remember some saying that they would live in beautiful houses that god spared, just for them.

  lots of death..maybe watching my friends die, their distored faces grimicing at me while im being loaded onto a watchtower truck. watching elders kill people, torch cities, ect...my best female friend being raped right in front of me....

  i hope you didn't come in here just because you thought you would see something smutty.bad people.

  my wife,still a faithfull loyal dub just walked around the corner on me when i had this site open.i hastily closed every thing down which of course made her very suspicious.i hinted around that i had something up that i didn't think she should see.being a good dub and what with the "dangers" of the internet being featured in almost every mag she at once jumped to the conclusion i was on a porn site.. little did she know it was much,much worse than that but i don't think i will fill her in on what i am really up to.
