  WMD Material Seized !!! Bad, Bad News !!!

  today in thailand a man was arrested by authorities there for attempting to sell radioactive material to an undercover officer.

  he had a fairly large amount of cesium 137 ... some really cool stuff.. when i worked in the nuke industry, cesium 137 was a waste by-product contained in many of the tank farms at hanford.

  exposure to it can kill you.

  Sure the materials have been around for years, under the supervision of the countries that had them.

  The authorities say this recent seizure can probably be traced back to Russia. How much other WMD material has made its way out of that country to find its way into the hands of terrorists? We may never know.

  The authorities have notified the media of this seizure to show how the war on terrorism is being fought and making headway. Is it scary...? if you have half a brain, it should be.

  CoC and ISoCF just shipped!

  i just got my copies in the mail, my first orders from amazon.com; crisis of conscience (coc) 4th edition; in search of christian freedom (isocf), 2002 edition (3rd printing).

  am i glad!.

  there's an immediate decision to make though: some jws still visit me; some elders still come over; do i display the book on the bookshelf (like all other books) or keep them someplace out of view?

  If you don't want to be questioned on your loyalty to the org., I suggest you put them away out of prying eyes.

  I have read CoC, and most of ISoCF, and my JW relatives know that I have them. I have family members, though, that have said that they will never shun us, so I keep them out in the open. Blood is thicker than the org. in our family. I wish I could say the same for others.

  They say the amount seized was about the amount released into the atmosphere at Chernobyl.

  I say give radiation/thyroid pills to everyone in the USA, just in case. Seems like the probability of more of this stuff being in the wrong hands is VERY high.

  princess' little girl is 5 years old today.. one of princess' friends is a dj on one of the major radio networks in seattle.

  she just talked to rachel over the radio and announced zoe's birthday and is playing a song for her right now!

  that was so cool to hear!!.

You have touched me deeply by your posts in the past week or so, but since I don't know you personally, I was hesitant to respond. Sometimes in life we want to express how someone has touched us, but do not because of social boundries.

  I'm going to be a dad again!

  i am going to be a dad again, and you know what excites me besides all the normal stuff?.

  my child will never have to go through what i did being a witness.

  he will never have to tell his teacher that he cannot celebrate a holiday or have a birthday cake.

  I am trying to make sure I am fully rested before he is born. But then again, my precious son wouldn't keep me up at night? Would he??

  Oh boy, don't start me there! My kids didn't sleep through the night for years! Of course, it didn't help that I am such a light sleeper that at the slightest sound from the other room, I came running! Babies are really very smart you know, where else can you get a great meal and be cuddled all at the same time!

  What is wrong with America?

  now i am in england, so first ill explain why i am criticising america and not my own country.

  america is taking over the world.

  After 9/11, I woke up to realize that the entire world loathes America. This hatred was years in the making. I think that the American government did a really good job in hiding that fact from the general public. Either that, or they didn't know the scope of that hatred themselves. I was absolutely stunned to watch the young Arab men on TV denounce America and say that the United States had it coming. They justified the killing of thousands of innocent men, women, and children by saying that they don't hate the people of America, just the government. Hate the government....kill the people...makes sense to me.

  The government has said that there will be a major terrorist attack within the US in the next two years. I don't know how they know this, maybe just covering their backs. All I know is, that I have no confidence in the government to prevent this from happening. And, when it does happen, will the world again say we had it coming?

  I say let Saddam Hussein back in Baghdad, turn a blind eye to Kim Jong Ill's nukes, give Afghanistan back to the Taliban, and restart the star wars program to protect ourselves from what the world says is none of our business. Will everyone be happy then?

  Gregory Peck has died...another legend is gone

  just read on the news that gregory peck passed away last night.

  he was 87. one of my favorites from the great days of movies, handsome and such a great actor.

  he was absolutely brilliant in "to kill a mockingbird.

  I remember 5 -

  Candy Cigs - used to love the little puff of (smoke) that would come out, just like Mom's!

  45 records - still have a bunch of them in the basement....lots of beatles, three dog night, some are in ok condition, the others I keep for sentimental reasons.

  roller skate keys - loved my roller skates when I was a kid, a lot easier to use than the roller blades today!

  Hi Fi Stereos - played loud enough for the entire family to enjoy Led Zepplin was not my parents favorite music!

  Drive In Movies - went to plenty when I was a kid in the family station wagon. They use to run about 3 movies a night....I have memories of falling asleep in the back and not waking up till we got home. (This is long before seat belts were even IN cars
