Need advice
by Darkknight757 inhi.i've been pouring over this site for the past few days looking for some advice and i hope there is someone here that can help a guy out.
i'm desperate.....short bio: i came into the organization after high school and shortly after married a wonderful girl who was born-in.we have been happily married now for nearly 20 years and things were well until 2015 hit.
by the way, i currently serve as an elder and have the ""privilege"" of being the "watchtower overseer".. either here nor there, we were told we would never have children but late last year my wife became prego!!

Welcome to my boat, i wasn't an elder...i was an MS. i noticed the BS and the Nov 13 WT that said to obey no matter what was a "WTF". i knew then i had to get out.
i changed congos, during that time i was able to step down. i used the excuse of work.
but, this has take a toll on my marriage. we too have been together 27 years....we are on the brink of divorce. she is so blinded by the watchtower.
i wish you luck and hope everything works out for you.

Just found out their about to baptise my 14 year old boy.
by Crazyguy inthere doing this right under my nose but i just found out.
not sure what to do but would like your help on getting me wt information on my headship role and how they shouldn't be doing this with out my permission.
also would like some help on showing my son the ramifications on what happens to someone when they get baptized and how they'll expect him to treat me.

Fighting about college
by cognac inmy nephew is a sweet, smart, thoughtful person.
he wants to go to college.. normally, a mom would be proud to have a son like this.. nope, not a friggin jw mom.
apparently, he's being selfish to both her and jehovah.

this sucks Cognac....something that would be a no brainer for a normal person or family.
i was thinking something similar earlier....my youngest son wants to do halloween this year or do a birthday, but NO! my wife blows a gasket. something so simple, a no brainer for normal people.
for this reason and many more....i hate this cult. it has ruined my family and marriage.
i really don't know what i am going to do.

need input: why does my wife do this. when at the meeting she is always nodding her head in agreement
by goingthruthemotions inso this is just so nauseating to me when she noddes her head in agreement and in a low voice or sound does a "mmm uh" in agrrement.
but here is the deal, she never aswers at the meetings.
she doesn't go out in service often.

Sabin: i have to go on occasion...if you read my previous posts. i don't go because i want to...i go to the meeting for 2 reasons.
1. to try and keep the peace with my wife.
2. protect my children, whom are made to go by my wife. from preditors in the hall.
but, i truely hate going....i so disgusting to go.
