I think you could be right,,its all concepts,,there is not any truth,,only what we conceptualize as truth,,which when you get to the basics of it,, is not "absolute" but merely concepts. We speak in metaphor and we think in metaphor they are not what is real,,no one can point to what is real,,they can only point to what is conceptualized as real.

I wear jeans 98% of the time. My wife keeps trying to get me to wear shorts,,I do only occasionally when it's hot. My legs are all white with no tan, if I had my legs tanned I think I would wear short more.
with so many "responsibilities" given to the witnesses by the "faithful and discreet slave", there is little time for them to do anything these days except sleep - and that is when they're not out preaching at unearthly hours in the morning.. .
the enormous pressure to perform, and to be under the watch of the elders to make sure you perform, is a draining experience.. .
a book i have on sociology says this regarding jehovah's witnesses, when discussing sects, that "they require intensive commitments and demonstrations of belief by members.

Modern science and acheaology show that there was never a world wide flood a few thousdand years ago. I guess some of these "fundies" just don't get it. They are under "faith in the bible" mind control.
i have been reading about carl jung and the archtypes from the collective unconscious.. i think it very benificial to fantasize or imagine your own personal guru,, to guide you through life,,to have genuine coversations with this mythological figure of your imagination.
i feel such a figure can grow to be quite an asset in dealing with your lifes problems.
they say there are 12 basic types or archtypes,,have any here tried this approach?
